Burrard Bridge is not the only bridge heading into downtown Vancouver. Granville St bridge heads into downtown and is underutilized. Many of the drivers can use that bridge instead of Burrrard. I have driven to the downtown core for many years using both bridges and I have had no problems with cyclists. I do know for sure that at 5:15 the burrard bridge is heavy with traffic. Maybe that live webcam was taken on a holiday? Don't know, but I've never seen the Burrard bridge at with barely any traffic at that time of day.

And that is a good point. Didn't the U.S. shoot down a plane during a war conflict. Unfortunately, we have hundreds of bodies of victims who's families can't retrieve and give a burial. And we don't have investigators on scene to help prevent this from happening in the future.

What really bothers me about this thread is that some folks here have blocked contributors which is absolutely not conducive to a productive informative debate. People who block other members of this forum degrade the forum. It seems ridiculous to contribute to this thread when we have this immature schoolyard behaviour going on.

You are not providing information that has not otherwise been tossed around here. However, the 'three officers' is interesting. I'm pretty confident the u.s. intel were able to pin point the launch site.

Apparently, they were doing nothing wrong. This airspace was supposedly 'safe'. However, I understand that many airlines had already decided to avoid this airspace.

So what is it that you are trying to say? Can you let us know your thoughts on who shot down the plane? And it sounds like you also have evidence. Can you provide evidence of that as well?

I agree it was not an intentional act to bring down a passenger flight. Whoever brought it down thought it was a military plane.

And I suspect the U.S. already have that info. They will share that info with a select few and then maybe the public later on.

We need proof who brought the plane down.
