  1. You will have to explain this one to me.
  2. Say what! What are you on about?
  3. LMAO. I suppose they are out on the streets because they are: attending a film, a concert, going to work, going out on a date. But I suppose you assume they are out there 'getting into trouble'.
  4. They start to look for it where it doesn't exist? What about the African American parents who experience great anxiety while their children are out and about on the streets and have no form of relief until they return home. I suppose the kids are out looking for racism....
  5. Um, no, because she suffers from 'battered abuse syndrome'. Look it up. Not sure what this has to do with this thread.
  6. A lifelong Conservative supporter ended up running for Justin Trudeau’s LiberalsStephen Fuhr was a lifelong conservative supporter and is now a Liberal candidate in the riding of Kelowna-Lake. He is a retired military officer and fighter pilot for the Royal Canadian Air Force. He is a Christian, was born in Tory-blue Alberta and grew up in the B.C. Interior. He's never smoked a joint in his life, and has always voted Conservative. Some of his disappointments with Harper: Harper government’s decision to purchase 65 F-35 fighter jets for Canada’s air force. In constant conflict with the auditor general In constant conflict with the parliamentary budget officer In constant conflict with the Supreme Court of Canada Muzzles federal scientists, climatologists and, to a certain extent, our national media. It stonewalls investigations into its own political misdeeds. It passed a so-called Fair Elections Act that stacks the deck in their favour while making it even more difficult for Canadians to exercise their most basic democratic right. Here is what Trudeau has accomplished: He has done more to reform the Senate than the Harper government has accomplished in eight years. The Liberals have made positive and proactive moves toward improving transparency by requiring MPs post both travel and hospitality expenses online. Most recently, Justin tabled a private member’s bill called the Transparency Act to improve the public’s access to information. Further comments from Stephen Fuhr: "Yes, all this as Canada’s third party. It’s called it leading from the rear. Something I occasionally saw in the military when exceptional leadership was not properly positioned. Justin is a true team-builder who brings a new generation of capable, successful people into public service." Read more here.
  7. All I see here is a great spin on words.
  8. When men and women do not confront and stand up to this type of sexist and harmful thinking and instead let these comments slide, the more the problems continue to perpetuate against women.
  9. Right, and if he's a good dentist, well then.... what's the problem!
  10. A sense of proportion that not many men on this forum agree with.
  11. You are repeating sexist remarks with violence attached to it towards women and yet you have no clue as to the impact these type of remarks have on women. Why do you encourage and justify this type of behaviour that is highly offensive and distressful to women? I just don't get it. Do you get your rocks off this way? Just wondering why else you would condone it.
  12. Gotta love this. https://twitter.com/PlazaAtlanta/status/547282063486095360/photo/1
  13. Stop putting words in my mouth. I haven't excused anyone for the despicable killing of these cops nor have I excused anyone for chopping off someone's head. Get real! Please quote where I excused these atrocities. This is simply crossing the line to accuse someone that doesn't agree with your politics.
  14. Hillary will throw her hat in the ring as will Jeb and Christie. Are these supposed to be only Canadian predictions?
  15. I wish people would pay more attention to number 3.
  16. Of course it's extreme to you. Because you are not living it on a daily basis.
  17. 'Irrelevant'? If this portion of the U.S. population feels they are being victimized, why would you want to take away their right to demonstrations and protests and why would you deny the media to cover these demonstrations (not to mention that many other races participate in these protests)? If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it's probably a duck. You get the idea?
  18. No one is excusing the black guy who killed the cops. We don't know that the Ferguson was not racially motivated.
  19. Housing projects, schools in the poorest communities are receiving billions of dollars? Are single mothers being encouraged to obtain an education? Are the communities providing them with free daycare to pursue their goals? Do the absentee fathers have access to education programs, addiction programs. I suppose those billions of dollars will provide for that. But show them the money!
  20. An armed cop shouldn't have mental illness when he is protecting communities. When cops kill unarmed citizens, that's when it becomes a problem and deserves closer scrutiny. No one here is excusing the behaviour of the perpetrator killing these cops. You are suggesting otherwise.
  21. You are missing the point of these protests. They are the result of pent up anger at the way the African Americans are targeted. (human rights issues)
  22. They are not dead because the media glorified a myth. There is no myth when thousands upon thousands of protestors across the U.S. are marching for human rights. It is the responsibility of the media to cover these protests. Are you suggesting the media ignore them?
  23. Animal agriculture is the single largest contributor of methane. If the western world were to adopt a plant based diet for at the very least a few days a week, it could result if enormous reductions of methane. "Though carbon dioxide (CO2) appears to be the greatest source of climate change when evaluated 100 years after the emissions occur, shorter-lived climate forcers, including methane (CH4), black carbon and ozone precursors contribute much more to warming in the near term." http://www.worldpreservationfoundation.org/Downloads/ReducingShorterLivedClimateForcersThroughDietaryChange.pdf
  24. Again the insults. Do you really think I'm bothered by the posters that mock me?
  25. Dr. Evil on NK and Sony and a nice little dig at GOP (on SNL) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8sgisCFP1E
