  1. Thank you cyber. It's very difficult for women to hang in there and ask for their rights. We often give up because of the brick walls we come up against. We come up against these walls in our everyday work life so we shouldn't expect less in I the cyber world. My only request on this forum is that the existing female members become acquainted with SEO
  2. Do I need to explain SEO 101? It's not about women not wanting to take part. It's about women even finding this forum. I found out about this forum through a male friend. I don't know what else to say about this issue. I have given up.
  3. You didn't answer my question. Do you interact with Muslims or gays on a daily basis?
  4. And lucky for us some of us get perturbed by the likes of your comments. And yet you seem to speak for hatred of all Muslims.
  5. I get extremely perturbed by your rants against Muslims which you tend to generalize against all Muslims. Living on the west coast I interact through work and on a personal with many Muslims. I seriously think I should be hiding under my bed and doing everything I can to avoid these people even the ones that I do manage on a professional level. Do you even interact with Muslims or even gays on a daily basis? What is your experience on a personal level with these people you so frequently judge (according to what you read on the Internet).
  6. I heard an interview on CBC radio today. The host was interviewing Mike Godwin who actually came out and said he supported JTs remarks. He said it made complete sense and that his law need not apply. So there you go! Right from the horses mouth!
  7. Until we have a balanced representation of men vs women it is a real struggle to debate issues. I have not been given a good reason why we can't add sub categories attracting female members. It's all about SEO. Please tell me why we are not encouraging female members to this political forum. Is it because the founding member is not up to speed on SEO or perhaps there is another reason because quite frankly I am left in the dark as to the decisions about my requests. And I won't give up until I get a satisfactory response. Don't we need legitimate members to counteract the trolls?
  8. Your wife must be embarrassed to travel with you.
  9. Gay marriages haven't been around long enough for long term studies to compare longevity of relationships in comparison to heterosexual relationships so it can't be said that heterosexual marriages are more stable. However, I came across a research study that was posted in psychology today indicating these findings: gays were more likely to have long term relationships. 59% had been in a stable, loving relationship for three or more years. They reported high levels of joy in their lives. 19% admitted to cheating on a loved one, which is much lower than the national average. Over 50% worked at the same company for five years or longer, and the majority enjoyed their jobs. 47% of heterosexuals had been in a stable, loving relationship when surveyed. Even less reported having been in a long term love relationship. In fact, only 42% said that they had been involved in a committed relationship for longer than three years. Of those who had married, over 50% had been divorced. Almost half admitted to cheating on a spouse or loved one. Only 26% remained at a job for five years or more. Many reported dissatisfaction with their work. And when discussing parenting: Gay parents "tend to be more motivated, more committed than heterosexual parents on average, because they chose to be parents," said Abbie Goldberg, a psychologist at Clark University in Massachusetts who researches gay and lesbian parenting. Gays and lesbians rarely become parents by accident, compared with an almost 50 percent accidental pregnancy rate among heterosexuals, Goldberg said. "That translates to greater commitment on average and more involvement." These kids may have the advantage of open-mindedness, tolerance and role models for equitable relationships, according to some research. I don't understand an earlier comment made about gay parents lying to their kids and having to adopt as being a disadvantage. What a bizarre comment.
  10. Yes but..... they found the department he works for highly racist. You don't see a connection? Ok, fair enough. You do have a black and white mindset with no room to think outside the lines. Tell me, when you coloured in a colouring book as a child, did you stay within the lines?
  11. If it has to do with procreation, why wasn't this gene that causes males to be gay not have been eradicated by now? There must be a reason to have these gay men in our population. Perhaps to encourage tolerance? Another theory is that women who have gay sons are more prolific at making babies, so maybe there's that! Bring on those gay babies!
  12. That's your opinion nothing more. Gay people are just as normal as you and I. I suppose children raised in a loving environment with parents who happen to be gay are not normal because their parents aren't?
  13. For gods sake. What is your definition of normal?
  14. No. You are missing the point. You are assuming that straight people have more privileges than gay people. That is a faulty assumption as cyber mentioned Gay people may have more privileges than women or other minorities at least in Canada. This question is being asked to simply satisfy the curiosity of straight people as to what the advantages of being gay are? It's a silly question.
  15. It sounds like you are talking about aliens from another planet. Some people are gay. Some people are straight. Some people are transgender. And everyone has discrimination issues to deal with including all of the above And you can bet gay people are asking the same question of straight people. ' why would anyone in their right mind be straight'.
  16. There is no legitimate reason to? What on earth does that mean? The more that people expect gays to have a hard life, the more that discrimination against gays is harder to fade away. Many gays are happily married, are raising a family and are not suffering any hardships except for those who continue to assume they are leading very difficult lives, because 'no one in their right mind would choose to be gay'.
  17. If the reasoning behind 'not in their right mind to choose to be gay' is because life would be difficult, then we should also say that 'No one in their right mind would choose to black' or 'no one in their right mind would choose to be woman'. Being gay in a liberal minded city is not like it was many years ago. Sure gays have struggles, but so do women and other minorities who constantly are fighting to improve pay inequalities, promotions that get overlooked for women, etc. Why is there even a question of 'why someone would choose to be gay'. Does it really matter? Aren't we past that point with the gay community.
  18. I have indicated before my concerns with duplicate personas. Not going through this again. It's not up to you to determine whether my concerns are justified. It's up to the mods. So screw off.
  19. Most of your posts with OGFT clearly have a biased 'attack' methodology towards him. But I am sure he doesn't need me to address your attacks. He can defend himself.
