Two Non-Multi-Cult Stories, or Mixing it Up and Making It

I suppose what many are asking is why the FN leadership has not changed the poverty and conditions of FN. Note I said FN leadership. The amout of money already spent to help FN has done nothing to change their living conditions. You mention all the other groups who have done it on their own dollar, why can the FN not do it. Where is the leadership to pull them from their plight? -
When reading the obits I have notice two things: 1. I'm never on the list 2. People die in alphabetical order, why is that?

You know what assuming does, don't you? Unlike "Adam" of the newspaper cartoon I go out of the house for half of the day(work) and get to speak to all kinds of people(political and otherwise).... in person...about all kinds of issues, instead of spending all my time at a computer screen.

Are we witnessing the death of the Parti Québécois?
Canuck E Stan replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Boisclair's homophobia news conference seems likely a set-up to try to get sympathy support from voters. Dragging in homophobia into the Quebec election as a issue seems like a baleout from the issues that should be discussed. If I was a Quebec voter I would be offended that Boisclair would make a hayday out of a "personal" issue. Boisclair is definitely losing traction...and very quickly. He has shifted the election issues to himself and not the issues relevant to Quebec. Homophobia has no place in politics, Boisclair says -
Then you're one of the few, everyone I speak to say they are left of the NDP. Most don't look at the Greens program beyond their environment stance, and many voted for the Greens as a protest vote against the Tories and Liberal parties.
-
Extremely good point. If the environment is the major concern for Canadians, each time Dion spews on about the environment with his problematic English, people will hear his message, and those who are extremely concerned, and are either, unhappy with the Liberals or their leader's performance on the environment, and are not Torie supporters will look to the Greens or NDP to cast their vote.Throw in the Bloc and you really have a split. This in turn will minimize the "left" vote and that will allow the Tories to gain in winning closely fought ridings. Much like the wins that Chretien had when the Conservatives split their vote between the Conservatives and the Alliance parties. These splits do more for a party that is somewhat "different" from the majority of like thinkers. It's a problem of having too many political parties in a race.

Parliament Votes Against Extending

Harper ate another leg of a cat? No dummy, Stephane's attack dog Kyoto was responsible for that. You know what Stephane and Kyoto are like they attack anything just for the sake of attacking. -

What about suicide? With the birth father question being forced to DNA, what if her own son Danny was the father?

Parliament Votes Against Extending
Canuck E Stan replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
With the opposition pulling all the strings, why don't the opposition pull another "Kyoto". Put a private members bill forth to make Dion the new Prime Minister and vote on it,at the same time they could ammend the bill to make Layton the new opposition leader. It would save a lot of time and money. -

No luck required, German unemployment in skilled trades is high. Since when is it the job of Federal government to train skilled trades as Garth was asking? -

Yes and not long ago someone on the right was complaining about the tone of the posts deteriating? What good for the goose is good for the gander I guess. More like the tone of the eco-prophets deteriorating, if they truly believed in what they preached they would put into practice their words of wisdom. Who are you sending money to.... to buy credits? You do believe don't you? And of course sending a eco-cheque will make a great inpact to BW won't it?

'TRUTH' Good ole Al Gore, so worried about the "GW" thing and has the whole world worried along with him. We must do something to curb the tide of man made GW he keeps saying. You know, the same message Suzuki rants about here in Canada. Well Al has done a lot on a personal level. What you ask? As for Suzuki Conserve as I say, not as I do Suck it Up Suzuki! Live by example boys, practice what you preach.

Gore got an oscar for his great acting ability in a documentary. And it was great, he had everybody believing him. Cohen, should have gotten best documentary for Borat, now that was really the truly a documentary.

You're right, it's just awful. Turner telling the government it is responsible for training these people. These people in the auto sector who were making $35.00 an hour putting nuts and bolts on a car are now out of work.Did they really think this was a "skill"? Turner is really stupid to think Canadians will feel the government is responsible to retrain this bunch. Tell them to get Buzz to retrain them or tell the car makers to make cars the consumer wants. Turner sure is stupid.

Old and fat......more attractive? Is this just you, or is this what the important issues of Quebec amounts to? Being old and fat?
