  1. Because you use isolated examples which are very much NOT indicative of the actual values and beliefs of the world's Muslims. I'll point out there have been a hundred thousand Islamic terrorist attacks in the last twenty years and you'll post a cite of a nice Muslim who collects cats and bakes brownies for the neighbour's kids as if that is some sort of logical rebuttal.

  2. Without getting into the other 2 - I certainly have not responded with only denial and derision. I have read every single link you provided, I have paid attention to your constant portrayal of your sister as the typical Muslim, I have agreed with you when I could, I have acknowledged when you have made a good point. You however are the one who denies there is any problems in Islam. Oh yes, if pushed you will sandwich a generic comment like "Yes, it's terrible when people do these things." between denying and excusing what is clearly more of a problem in Islam and in Islamic countries than in other countries, and name-calling/posting moral judgements about people's character based on some comments on a particular subject on an internet discussion forum! You been popping into topics spewing venom to try to "bait" other posters, just so you can get your persecution rocks off and appear morally superior. Just because a person feels immigration is not working well in Canada, and has concerns about Islamic extremism (I get that this is not a concern for you, but it is to a lot of people) and doesn't view Islam as the religion of peace that you'd like to see promoted doesn't make them bad people who should be written off. You make all kinds of excuses for Muslims - terrorists are just mentally ill, the imam who prayed for Islamic countries to be free of the filth of the Jews - well, he didn't mean it that way, you deny that women are being raped in great numbers in Sweden, you deny the assimilation problems and that there are no-go zones, you basically deny everything going on in Islam - we all know there is misogyny int he world, we all know girls are being mutilated and married off before they are even teens, we all know women are beaten by their husbands we all know this happens in all societies. Islam however, has cornered the market on all of it - it isn't just ONE issue - they have adopted everything bad they encountered in their world conquest and it's all coming to a head now, as they clash with the rest of the world. I really dont' understand why - given what's happening in the world of Islam right now - you insist on shutting down any discussion of it.

  3. There is also an issue with slaughtering animals in the streets, common in Muslim countries but not acceptable in Western lands. Egypt tries to crack down on it, but they ignore their own government, so doubtful they will have much respect for any host country. http://www.egypttoday.com/Article/2/56308/Why-people-will-never-obey-government-stop-slaughtering-in-streets https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/7074173/eid-al-adha-2018-animal-sacrifice-cows-beheaded/ https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/709345/Muslims-urged-not-to-SLAUGHTER-ANIMALS-in-the-streets-of-France-at-Eid-al-Adha https://cutacut.com/2018/08/22/is-pakistan-the-only-muslim-country-that-slaughters-animals-on-the-streets-on-eid-ul-azha/ I recently met people from Russia and Switzerland and as we were talking about our respective countries, the Swiss guy commented about their problems with Muslims - they steal sheep from farmers and petting zoos, cut their heads off, take the bodies and leave the severed heads behind. He also talked about how difficult it is because the Swiss are very open and tolerant but they feel the Muslims are pushing this tolerance past the limits of what is acceptable. He was generally happy with how the Swiss government handles troublemakers - they deport problem people mush quicker and more often than we do. He was also happy with how their government listens to the people and that the Swiss population has much more say in what happens in their country than we do. But again, this is probably more of a "traffic issue" to some.

  4. Russia is a vast shithole of poverty, where getting drunk is the national sport. Putin and his fellow organized crime figures own everything worth owning while everyone else lives in Stalin era concrete apartments or run down shacks. Using their military to threaten and intimidate others makes Russians puff out their chests in pride, to be a part of such a 'great' country.

  5. I'm going to delete any further post on Muslims on this topic unless it's related directly to immigration. The topic is immigration. One of the reasons it's so difficult to even discuss immigration is people like dialaham instantly change the subject to accusations of bigotry and Islamophobia, and the next thing you know we're trading nonsense. If it were at least original nonsense that would be fine, but it's almost identical to the same shit in the Islam topic anyway, with nothing that hasn't been covered before by the same people.

  7. And responses like that are exactly why I dismiss you as a brainless moron. I doubt you can name any. But in any event, none of that is evident throughout the world. The only nations which seem to discriminate against minority religions on a continuing basis, by law and custom, are Muslim nations. And it is dishonest statements like this which cause me and others to question your honesty. It sounds like the kind of desperate propaganda nonsense an Islamic front would put out. That is not an honest comparison. Nor is it timely. Canada was certainly unkind to minorities in the past but we are a much more sophisticated and cosmopolitan country now. But it is another of your tactics to compare how Muslim nations act TODAY with how Canada acted in times past. No, it's actually nothing remotely similar. The Westboro Baptist church is a small cult unaffiliated with any Christian church and condemned by all of them. You will not find their opinions shared by Christians in the west. However, the views of Islam propagated by Islamic extremists are in many respects identical to those of mainstream Islam. The things they do - the beheadings, the burning of people alive and enslaving of women and girls, are all things done by the prophet and his warriors against the 'enemies of Islam'. Your continuing pretense that only a few 'extremists' are the problem in the Muslim world ignores the facts regarding how the Islamic world and the Muslim religion treats women, Jews, gays and anyone else not worshipping as they do. That you desperately seek out singular examples of individual Muslims and blithely dismiss polls showing 60% - 70-%- 80% of respondents favour death for blaspheme, apostasy, adultery, etc. across the Muslim world just shows that your intent is to defend Islam against all criticism. That you ignore the continuing stream of outrageous, religious based violence throughout the Muslim world demonstrates your level of blind dishonesty. That you turn every discussion about ti into shrill accusations of moral deficiency is really nothing more than an admission you have no real argument to put forth other than a continuing stream of invective and insults - the product of a barren mind of exceedingly low intelligence.

  8. This is more evidence of your lying and misrepresenting. Dog doesn't post the verses to "prove Muslims are all violent and hateful" And he has never denied that the verses about peace are also there. The problem is you perceive any criticism of Muslims or Islam as evidence that the person is morally bankrupt. That's a pretty extreme view, Dia. but it's about white people, so I guess you're allowed. I have also never said that every woman in a hijab is an extremist or abused - another of your lies. Meltdown? Take a good look at yourself before you go pointing the finger at others. You regularly meltdown over the slightest critique of Islam. Good gawd, how many meltdown have you had wringing your hands over your belief that Canada is going to send Muslims to the ovens any minute now!!!!

  11. We should always put our principles before our allies, like we did in the case of the Florida woman BC pointed to. As we should have long long before we went down the road to trading with dictatorships like China's. As Trudeau should have with Saudi Arabia the day he was elected. We should be letting Ms Weng go while also telling China to go piss up a rope. A pox on all of them.

  12. Yes, except the JW's are just a small cult of about 11 million members worldwide with a lot of other wonky beliefs......not quite the same effect as a dominant religion with over a billion members being told the same thing. I was married into a very large family of staunch Catholics for over 20 years and never once heard any of them say they couldn't be friends with non-Catholics. I also went to school with a Muslim woman whose husband followed her around between classes, making sure she didn't befriend any of the rest of us. So don't make out like Christianity is all about NOT making friends with un-believers. We all know who the real liar is here.

  14. Making light of a serious situation in India and France as examples, is disingenuous at best and ignoring reality which is simply a diversion, as is calling posts ‘trolling’ because one doesn’t like them . In fact, boiling it down to simply a traffic problem is simply trolling. India takes it seriously because it’s giving the finger to Hindus which could cause riots and serious civil unrest. Paris already has a law banning street prayers passed in 2011 but even though there have been protests by the public and politicians against mass public prayers authorities give them a pass (so far) – why – because they too are afraid of civil disobedience and riots. Islam is not adapting to the host countries where as it grows they show their disdain for others by showing weekly displays of Islamic power and intimidation. It is also happening in the U.K. more frequently where the increasingly large numbers praying in the streets care causing health and safety issues, major disruptions and nuisance to everyone living or visiting in the area. But go ahead, brush it off as simply a traffic problem. France also bans public funding of places of religious worship separating church and state but the increasing problem with public prayers is testing the secular State.

  15. Obama was always to busy playing golf for him to give a shit about what was going on in the world. Obama supported ISIS in Syria. Trump pretty much eliminated ISIS in Syria. Trump has done a great job so far and I have no problem saying so.

  16. Trump’s antics have been pretty boring lately. Hard core anarchists are experiencing some cognitive dissonance right now because they’re actually working for big government when they throw on their Antifa masks and run amok. That money they’re getting comes from Dem backers. When you say “real lefties” what do you mean? Are there people further left than princess glitterfarts? Or do you find him to be a bit of a fascist?

  17. Progressives all want to be so kindly to and welcome 'irregular migrants' but none of them have to pay the price for it. 1: The huge number of refugees occupying shelter beds have forced some homeless into low-barrier (respite) shelters, which are nothing more than costly warehouses, and 2: The city has been pouring so much money into trying to accommodate refugees and asylum seekers that I fear little is left for mental health, affordable housing and job supports for the rest of the homeless population. https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/levy-street-count-proves-refugees-taking-huge-toll-on-shelters

  20. Leftists used the child's death as a political weapon, even before all the facts were in. The child is their new Kasshoggi. What we are seeing here is a twisted use of the idea that "The death of one is a tragedy", a phrase which, interestingly has roots coming from... where again? Oh yeah. This is intended to prompt some kind of reaction from the right, of course. MH engages in the very sins he purports himself to be against, disruptive politics.

  22. It's good of you to cast yourself as the arbiter of (assumed) virtue. In fact, there are several valid arguments one might pursue to challenge the efficacy of Canada's current large-scale immigration program. Suzuki's position focuses on the negative environmental implications of population growth for Canada as well as the deleterious social and economic consequences of Western migration for the developing nations from which we now receive most of our immigrants. But there are also strong economic arguments grounded in domestic realities to counter the assumed logic and efficacy of our current approach to immigration. Further, the "demographic deficit" argument for immigration is being discredited and some of the cultural arguments against large-scale migration are being validated by objective analysis. A federal government study reportedly concluded that Canada's ability to absorb immigrants at current levels is declining, noting the increasing tendency of some immigrants to segregate and fail to assimilate. Sometimes, pontificating in support of your preferred ideological perspective, as you appear to do, only serves to undermine the perspective you strive to promote.

  23. Rehabilitation is a word that suggests you can get someone to stop engaging in crimes when used in reference to how we should manage criminals. While It does have some application to first time criminals, some drug and alcohol addicts and in aboriginal healing circles with some natives, the reality is it has little impact on reducing crime. I think if you can get to some kids it can work, likewise with some addicts, but anyone who thinks it will work with terrorists, violent offenders, needs to come inside a prison, sit in a support group, or clean up after a terrorist attack and get a reality check. Street gangs are just pack behaviour... a behaviour seen in all primates. It's a part of the life cycle of simeons. As immature males age their dependency on the pack will change as the need to break away from the alpha male and find a mate and reproduce and form a new pack becomes the imperative. Street gangs, boy scouts, sports teams, combat units, church groups, political parties, musical bands, are all variations of the pack. You are never going to get rid of pack behaviour. The best you can do is redirect the attention of a pack to something benevolent to as opposed to detrimental to the prevailing social norms. One option is to appeal to a pack's sexual and material desires. We pay certain gangs huge salaries, surround them with material excesses and concubines. We call such pack members athletes or rappers. They used to be called gladiators. Rehabilitation? Try signing them to a rap label. Regards, Frank, Dino, Sammy, Joey, Peter, Spanky, Green Bay

  24. Nice try. But sorry to tell you that you've utterly misrepresented my position. I've noted that the real danger of the UN Compact for Migration is domestic, or regional in the case of the EU. Under international law, which has since the 17th century been governed by the "Westphalian sovereignty" principle, such pacts are voluntary and non-binding. Their efficacy rests on the willingness of signatory states to in good faith observe their provisions. The great powers, the U.S., China and Russia, routinely eschew any notion that their sovereignty be undermined and in this case gave the migration pact a big swerve. But some democracies, notably Australia and Italy, also refused to sign the thing, noting that its provisions were/are inconsistent with their policies and practices. Why be hypocritical, then, and sign something they have no intention of or interest in implementing? This brings us to Western democracies that did sign it. Merkel indicated in the Bundestag that Germany sees it as a mechanism to bring the broader EU, and particularly smaller and poorer states which have been reluctant to accept Germany's migration agenda, into compliance with Germany's immigration policies and practices. Once approved by a majority of states, she has stated, the pact's provisions will become "valid" throughout the EU. And countries like Sweden and Britain, which already accord migrants significant social benefits, no doubt want to see a reduction in the kind of "benefits shopping" which attracts migrants to their shores. But Canada? We already grant immigrants and refugees most of the benefits compelled by the pact, thus rendering our support for it more ideological than practical. An objective observer must sure be concerned as to whether the intent of the Lib government is to etch in stone its own immigration agenda. Other inherent risks, like that entailed in the pact's endorsement of censorship and propaganda in promoting its objectives, are chilling. But then, our "progressives" seem entirely comfortable with such anti-demographic 'ends justify means' shenanigans. "Deplatforming" and demonizing critics has become part of their repertoire. Should we be giving this kind of nonsense encouragement? Anybody who actually believes in democracy - a messy and inconvenient system, at best - has ample reason to be concerned.

  25. All I ask of you was why do people like you always like to leave Japan out of the picture? Japan was partners with Germany in WW2 and who were really involved in torture and murder. It is always easy to pick on the German people because they just happen to be white, right? You will never get any flak over saying those bloody Germans but instead will get praised for it. But you could get called a racist if you were to point out all the atrocities that the Japanese people did to their prisoners. No excuses being put forward here. Just pointing out your hypocrisy.
