  1. No country would allow a bunch of heavily armed people to storm a border crossing without a response. Yet, when Israel responded in a measured, common-sense way to the threat, they get condemned because of a false-narrative that they were ‘murdering civilians.’ Now, Justin Trudeau has gotten in on the act, calling Israel’s use of live ammunition ‘inexcusable,’ and saying the government is “appalled” by the violence. CNN has reported that a “senior member of Hamas’ political bureau” said “In the last round [of demonstrations] 62 people were martyred; 50 of them are from Hamas and 12 from the people,” al-Bardaweel replied, adding, “I am telling you, these are official numbers.” That statement totally debunks the idea that these were somehow ‘peaceful’ protesters. And in the New York Times (a usually far-left newspaper), journalist Matti Friedman writes about how Hamas purposely creates situations where people get killed in order to gain propaganda victories: “The next step in the evolution of this tactic was visible in Monday’s awful events. If the most effective weapon in a military campaign is pictures of civilian casualties, Hamas seems to have concluded, there’s no need for a campaign at all. All you need to do is get people killed on camera. The way to do this in Gaza, in the absence of any Israeli soldiers inside the territory, is to try to cross the Israeli border, which everyone understands is defended with lethal force and is easy to film. About 40,000 people answered a call to show up. Many of them, some armed, rushed the border fence. Many Israelis, myself included, were horrified to see the number of fatalities reach 60.” Conservative Senator Linda Frum ripped Trudeau for his statement: “Trudeau calls Israel’s effort to protect 1948 internationally recognized border against armed incursion “appalling.” True friends of Israel knew it was only a matter of time. First opportunity in office to defend Israel’s right to self defence & our PM condemns Israel not Hamas https://www.spencerfernando.com/2018/05/16/fooled-trudeau-is-falling-for-hamas-propaganda/ Trudeau needs to resign. He is so easily fooled. Even Hamas admits it and trudeau still has no clue. With that statement, Trudeau confirms that he’s fallen for the propaganda of the terrorist organization Hamas, the terrorist group that has been behind the violence from the beginning: According to the Times of Israel citing a translation from the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), the co-founder of Hamas “said in an interview that the terror group was “deceiving the public” when it spoke of “peaceful resistance” a day before 60 people were killed in violent protests on the Gaza border.” He said Hamas was using “clear terminological deception.”

  2. I think it's difficult to have a lot of sympathy for those who leave Canada for war zones and other dangerous places. I suspect many believe that most such cases should be treated as 'at your own peril' expeditions and even more so when the intent of such journeys ostensibly violates Canadian law, as now appears to be the case with the returning ISIS members. The SCC ruled on the Charter violations in the Khadr matter yet it did not set compensation. I believe this should have been determined in the lower courts where the very real concern about moral hazard could and should have been considered.

  3. Cry me a river..... Omar was a terrorist.....As for the evidence, well did it not bring about a conviction, yes or no ?.....was that conviction upheld by the US justice system ?.....and then by the Canadian Justice system ?.....yes or no.....Some of his civil rights were violated , and he was compensated for that......with 10 mil dollars, and yet just last week the Canadian government settled with Native American's who had their civil rights violated much more than Omar and his merry band of terrorist ever did , and what was the payout again ?.....lots of justice there.

  4. NO this was not the case with Omar, Omar was a terrorist plain and simple. Only Omar there was proof, here there is not...don't get me wrong this guy is guilty as shit as well but how does one prove that. Omar was pulled off the battle field....kind of hard to claim he was not a terrorist... Omar case in one in million, where there was follow up and evidence gathered, it is next to impossible to do all those things in a combat zone....and rarely happens.... Correct me if i am wrong but Omar was tried and convicted of murder was he not ? on the outset there may of been some doubt as to whether he kill the medic, but he was guilty as shit of being part of a terrorist group, being a terrorist, taking part in gathering intel on a coalition partner, planting IED's, picking up a firearm and participating in combat, while being a non combatant...that they got from Omars home made combat porn tape..... the list goers on, most of those charges were dropped in favor of the murder charge, which the final results were respected in the US and Canada despite what Canadian justice figures claim was a kangaroo court....he remained in jail.... Just a off topic question, those Native Americans Indians snatch up and put into foster homes, sent away to far away schools....what did they get for there rights being violated....was it 10 million....

  5. Trudeau is pretty one sided in this as he is completely ignoring the role of Hamas. Israel has every right to defend it's borders so what would happen if they didn't, what do people think would happen if thousands of blood thirsty rioters got through? Does anyone really think that it would just be a peaceful march or that they would not kill any israeli they saw? Trudeau wants an investigation into the shooting of the Canadian Dr but maybe someone should fill Trudeau in on the guy's activist background, not that it would matter to him. The guy is not so innocent, and It's very telling that the media haven't been reporting on Loubani's background which consists of of being arrested multiple times while in the Middle East. The Canadian gov't had to ball out Loubani and pal when they were arrested and jailed in Egypt. I bet the Mossad knew about him. Just think: on Monday over 60 Palestinian rioters were killed while violently attempting to violently infiltrate into Israel from Gaza. Today - no one was using violence, no one was trying to infiltrate so - guess what - no one was killed.

  6. The holocaust - and the plight of Jews during that time - did help make a Jewish State. What was a plan became reality. That state is called Israel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Exodus https://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005459

  7. I wonder as to how many billions will have been spent so far on all those criminal refugees that keep entering Canada illegally every year? I want a border wall.
