WTF are you going on about.....Starving children, show me pictures of starving children...they may be hungry but starving not even close....see Somalia for examples of starving people...take a close look at any picture in Gaza they all have clean cloths, washed, looked after, lots of activity, Apparently many people including the western media would not know starving if it bite you in the ass.

Palestinians are not going to rise up and take on Hamas even if you armed them....Palestinians are Hamas and if not Hamas then some other terrorist group...like Fatah , PLO, or some other splinter group, all have the same moto the destruction of Israel....for them there is no two state solution, only one state Palestine which includes all of Israel..even if you removed Israel they would fight each other. there is never going to be peace with these guys that delusional thinking....

How do you explain Israel's complete withdrawal from the Gaza strip, all israelis lands within the city were given back to the Palestinian people. graveyards dug up, and returned to israelis lands, massive greenhouses used for crops the palestinians tore them down, infrastructure for water and sewage torn up to make rockets, massive tunnel complexes dug to harbor terrorists that launch missiles into Israel, under schools and hospitals ....They did this on their own accord, this was their choice.... They freely elected a terrorist government, which took the keys to gaza, it stole or redistributed funding given to them to rebuild and used it to purchase weapons to fight israel with....they had their chance at peace, and instead used that to continue their fight with Israel...Israel has given Palestinian many chances at peace but there is to much hatred on both sides....Look at Gaza right now, nothing more than rubble, it use to be beautiful tourist city...now it filled with death and destruction...That's what happens when you give them autonomy over themselves...

The amount of zeal or viciousness does not make you a good or bad guy. That is the entire damn point of a warfighter is to be vicious and kill the enemy. What makes Israel the good guy is that they were all minding their own business one Holiday and Hamas invaded killing women, children, kids at a concert, raping, torturing, and taking hostages. That makes them the bad guys. Israel fighting back to end that threat makes them the good guys.

Your forgetting fighting in europe was total warfare, killing incent civilians was done on purpose to get them to pressure their government into a surrender. In Israel conflict that is not an option....the country is following the Geneva convention and is being monitored on the ground every day by dozens or organizations...Hamas knows the Geneva convention as well and uses it to their full advantage, inflating numbers is what they do...The convention also spells out very clearly that hospitals are forbidden targets..."Unless" the enemy is using them to their own tactical advantage, then the revert back to military targets and can be bombed...most people in the world don't know about the conventions so they gasp every time a school or hospital is bombed.... Boots on the ground is very very expensive in manpower...and death tolls would be ten times higher if That's all they relied on....Israelis are using every precaution in the book plus many more to ensure the death tolls are as low as they are...you don't drop a 2000lb bomb and not kill everything in a two to 3 block radius....unless you told people to get out... No i don't blame it on being anti Semitic, but i do blame most people not very educated on the subject, if they had read up on what is going on , with both sides not many would be supporting Hamas in any way...Israel is going to destroy these terrorist one way or another , and if that takes push all palestinians into the sea that is what is going to happen, Israel has been pushed to far...I spent 6 months in Israel/ Sinai peninsula/ Gaza, and trust me Palestinians are not the angles people think of...

Nope. Foreigners can start a canadian corp and even tho it's owned 100 percent by foreigners it can buy as much real estate as it wants. Further all those temporary foreign workers and students are exempt. So foreign investors who have a kid studying here or who know someone who does can very easily buy property here through the kid. Now, as a result of these easily bypassed 'optics based' policies the majority of rental properties are owned by corporations (used to be mom and pop landlords) that foreigners just own the shares in. Yay, so much better But there's still huge foreign ownership. Nothing changed. And now with home sales down there's actually less homes being built.
