  1. A dystopia of doctors assisting mentally ill people to commit suicide, constant attacks on Canada for “colonialism”, elderly locked away in homes without visitors, endless restrictions on behaviour and required proof of vaccination to enjoy basic freedoms, encouragement of uncertain children to undergo gender transition surgery on demand, continued legislation of abortion up to the day before expected day of birth, race-based funding of businesses and employment programs, continued curtailing of free speech on campuses, massive increases in immigration and refugee entry without parliamentary debate, continued looking the other way on the burning of churches and blockading of railroads, throwing taxpayer dollars at pipelines and introducing regulations that make them impossible to build, profligate overspending on whimsical pet projects…Am I missing anything?

  2. Science is backed up by data and the message is clear. Get vaccinated and save lives of others and yourself. This message is particularly important as the Delta dominated fourth wave is coming to Canada, Vaccines are doing a great job to protect you and your family, friends and neighbors as well as strangers you come across on a bus, in a shopping mall, theaters and groceries, SO DO TAKE THE VACCINE ASAP IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. https://globalnews.ca/news/8073598/covid-coronavirus-vaccine-hesitant-hospital-deaths-modelling/ “The data show that 85 per cent of hospitalized COVID-19 cases were unvaccinated, with only 0.7 per cent of hospitalized cases occurring in fully vaccinated patients,” she said during the Friday press conference. “The majority of cases, hospitalizations and fatal outcomes are occurring among unvaccinated people,” Tam said. Compared to cases among those who have been fully vaccinated, unvaccinated Canadians are three times more likely to be hospitalized if they catch COVID-19. With the Delta variant ripping across the country, it’s more important than ever to try to get your jab, Tam said. “We need more eligible people vaccinated,” she said. Roughly 6.3 million Canadians still haven’t had a vaccine.

  3. CBC has been struggling to find "the election question". We understand, it's a very difficult challenge, and we're here to help, with a simple and direct single world candidate: Why? Why the st()d election was even made in the first place? Who asked for it? And who needed it? Just like in the classical sleuth story ask yourself these simple questions and it's nowhere near a mind-bending mystery. Why was it necessary (to who?) to spend more hundreds of millions of taxpayer's money (does anybody even count them anymore?) in the middle of the pandemic's most dangerous variant wave to send millions of dutiful voters to the poll stations exposing them to horrible droplets and aerosols? To think of it, would-be PM calling for mandatory this and require that with a single brief walk creates the most massive pandemic gathering event in years (how many millions?) across the country, to achieve: what? What can it, and would do for us? (sure it could upgrade the power status of one party-corporation from virtually monarch-like to formally such, but would it do anything for us?). And no matter how many times asked, at rallies, debates or informally have you heard a clear and intelligible answer: why? Did you hear it, even once?

  4. I gotta admit that I find watching hockey games to be a bit of a chore now. I just do it with my son as a family thing. I grew up as a captive audience, with 3 channels in rural Alberta and no other decent options, but after a half-year lockdown and a full-year lockdown I already found other things to do in winter. Then I started watching with the volume turned off during "the days of wokeness". Now I'm happier if my kid doesn't want to watch. I've never watched many Jays games in a season, maybe 5 out of 182, but after the anthem-kneeling I took about a half-season off of that as well. I used to be a sports fan, now I'm 'meh' about it all.

  6. Takes time there's certainly not enough time for this pandemic - as common sense would clearly tell you. If you want that to happen in time for the next pandemic, tell your representative. See above. Although, I'd ask the question - why should the taxpayer be on the hook for people who are so entitled, they think it's ok to use the excuse of "personal freedom" to overwhelm our health care system, then demand that 'more hospitals/staff' be provided. Why should the few be allowed to put the burden on the many? Student nurses have already been hired in Ontario (and other places around the world). Early in the pandemic, BC implemented a program to quickly train people to assist with the pandemic; in addition, they've budgeted millions of dollars to support additional health care training. Nursing grads are now choosing the private sector instead of hospital to work, because they don't want the stress and burnout the current pandemic is visiting on health care professionals. Indeed.

  8. No, only you and a few others in this forum can be trusted but all other well known news media are false and are paid by Trudeau to lie and hired people to pose as Trudeau opponents wearing PPC shirts intentionally showing bad behavior so that Trudeau becomes a victim of extremism and Canadians feel democracy is in danger and vote for him!!!!!!!!. Any more theories you wish to share? Oh yes it is part of the conspiracy by aliens who in human form are among protesters but their real goal are to take over the planet. They were among Trump supporters too when they attacked the Capitol.
