Harper has been largely silent since leaving office. The other day he did an interview for a vlog. He looks much more comfortable in this interview than back when he was PM. He's much more animated and human in his speech and gestures. He also warns about overspending leading to inflation, and about China's growing totalitarianism. In a rare and uniquely candid interview, former prime minister Stephen Harper warned of a “nihilist” modern left bent on “ripping everything down” and seeking to “end the democratic system.” I don't think the woke left knows exactly what it wants, except perfection, but it's very much a believer that the ends justify any means. So I can see it restricting democracy if it felt that was standing in the way of perfect equity. I mean, too many white men being elected? Can't have that! Have to make new laws and rules for who can run! Maybe even mandate that a certain number of MPs be women and people of various shades of colour. After witnessing China assume direct control of Hong Kong in 2020, Harper said he now believes there is a risk that Beijing may eventually try to take Taiwan by force. “Ten years ago I would have said the chances of that happening are zero, I no longer think that’s the case,” he said. There’s simply no good reason for government-imposed restrictions on freedom in Canada to fight Covid-19 anymore. None.

The Branch Covidians have gone completely insane now. The vaccine is their sacrament, akin to communion. If you don’t subscribe, they fabricate the reasons why you won’t, based on their own assumptions and prejudices. They’re truly a disgusting group of people. I’m fully vaccinated, but I respect and acknowledge the RIGHT of people to control their own body. These little tin pot dictators are consumed with erasing decades and in some cases hundreds of years of hard fought guaranteed rights and freedoms. It’s so short sighted and completely selfish and disgusting.

It’s not it at all. Why do a considerable number of health care workers hold the same opinion? It’s like that. Am I scared of the vaccine? No. Look how many got it. I object to their ability to take more shortcuts especially with new technology. And because of that I object to making it mandatory. I don’t have enough confidence they know what they are doing. They being political leaders. The health and safety rules for mass innoculation are there for a reason. To prevent deadly effects from medications themselves. As long as we protect all those who might need hospitalization by giving them vaccine, we have solved the main problem. The government has no authority over us for anything more than that.

The vaccines haven’t been been listed as safe for adults. They haven’t been approved by the FDA or the Canadian equivalent. They’re only approved by emergency authorization. Regardless, you have no right to force people to put anything in their body. Get fully vaccinated and then you don’t have to worry about somebody else’s vaccination status of a virus that has a mortality rate of like 0.1% in people that aren’t 65+ with chronic illnesses.

It’s sad that we’ve gone from a true statesman, that other countries respected, to such a laughingstock of man-child as PM.

Also true for the unvaccinated. And if we still need a mask, social distancing and other restrictions whether vaccinated or not... because covid... I see no reason for it myself. None at all. I’m totally unafraid of going it alone. Just me... and my immune system.

Don't worry. The threat is way overblown and we managed through tougher times. Just like 9/11, crises happen not because of exterior threats but because of internal panic. When everything settles down with the virus, things are going to get much clearer. I don't believe in doom at all.

For a person to believe in any god, without proof of his goodness, would not be the best thinking or choice. It would kill the ability to chose another who might be better. Goodness is the foundation of godliness. Yahweh is demonstrably evil, yet has a large following who never dare discuss morals and resort to inquisition and jihad type of insults to their brighter, non-supernatural god brethren. If being a decent citizen was based on the desires of destroying the majority who are not like them, real life would be hell, as many would not be able to stop the antics of the young who kill. The young know that we love war and too many oblige, even as the numbers are better than ever. Yet we thing those who pray for Armageddon are good decent people. I say to hell with all who want to end my life just for thinking in a more moral way than my poor delusional brethren. I say that because, as an idol worshiper, you have given up your free will. You have damned yourself to hell, by doing such a harm to your mind, --- and running away from facing the morals that have you using inquisition and jihad tactics for mind control. Bishop Spong foretold that the savior belief, because of all it's immoral tenets would be what kills Christianity as a whole. He was wrong. It will kill all religions that respect that and that is most of them, be they have a supernatural god or not. I invite Jesus believers to argue. If there is goodness in you or your genocidal god, then come and explain why he always kills, when Jesus, alias Yahweh of The Terrible Trinity shame, come and learn the evil you adore and why your religion had to grow with murder, as your ancients as well as yourself, if you could, were to morally corrupt to convert with love. You are one of those who believe the governments of all countries in the world have colluded to take away the basic rights of their citizens, muzzle them with a blue diaper , implant a tracking chip under their skin, reduce production of goods, services and nearly eliminate all forms of entertainment ....and for what purpose exactly? I have never seen the governments of so many countries reach an unanimous decision on anything - not on climate, not on economy, not on human rights, you name it. But , hey, they are all in agreement on that bogus COVID19, which should have evolved into COVID21 by now.
