  1. But they are not at fault for believing the fantasy when the media and government, not to mention their schools, tell them so constantly.

  2. I have many friends in Europe and what they tell me is radically different from what the looney left media reports. Of course, we mirror the same lack of regard for truth and reason from the left end of our political spectrum, so we will suffer from importing and promoting the same kind of culture within the immigrant stream to Canada's open borders.

  3. Many Canadians now (I hope) see what the current PM is doing, and many seriously want him gone. Who could and would run against him? We know what the UN agreement is about for Trudeau, same as Obama, Trudeau's friend.

  4. Well, I suppose I could put one in my club, and then delete any references to Soros. :-P

  5. Markets were set to open sharply lower Monday after a bizarre press release from the U.S. Treasury secretary that formed a perfect capper to a year made strange by his boss Donald Trump. Steve Mnuchin released a statement Sunday (while vacationing in Mexico, no less) announcing that he had spoken with the major bank CEOs and confirmed that the major financial institutions had adequate capital. The strange part of this was that investors were not worried about bank liquidity until this statement came out. Famed economist Paul Krugman responded that “It’s as if Mnuchin was trying to create a panic’ and a twitter comedian noted that ‘Mnuchin has also confirmed that all the major hospitals have enough anti-zombie serum to go around.”

  6. Let's see: LBJ, Carter - 1 term each; Obama, Clinton - 2 terms each - that makes 24 years. How do they get 25 ? Also Nixon, Ford, Bush I - 1 term each, Reagan, Bush 2 - 2 terms each and Trump - 2 years makes 30. This is a bad math meme...

  7. It's too bad that the leftist social justice warrior liberals and socialists do not wake up from their coma. They are the reason why the likes of George Soros and even King Trudeau are getting their way of trying to destroy our British/European western way of life. It is the right wingers who have been trying to ring the warning bell for decades now and all we ever get is being called names like Nazi's and racists. Those fools mentioned above are trying to help set up a world where they also will be the losers in the end, the bloody stupid fools. They are being used and they cannot figure that one out. The fools that helped set up communism in 1917 in Russia were used to achieve the goal of communism in Russia and many were later discarded after the revolution by the leaders of communism themselves took over. If the people want slavery than vote for communism. If they want freedom than vote for the "right wingers". It's that simple. Sometimes the people are their own worse enemy.

  8. Nope....Trudeau has fumbled badly with other nations too (India, Saudis, China, Japan, Mexico, etc.)...so it isn't just Trump.

  9. Credible media = the Guardian, which makes the Toronto Star look like an alt-right media outlet, and the Swedish government, which has been repeatedly accused of lying about and distorting the data? The multiple official reports on grooming gangs have laid bare the depths of hypocrisy on the part of media outlets like the Guardian, and the police, social workers and local government which ignored the problem in favour of political correctness. Had you been there I have ZERO doubt you'd have been one of the ones deliberately ignoring and downplaying the problem and sneering at the mothers complaining for being 'bigots'. Aside: Why do people with the lowest intelligence feel the need to use great big damn fonts?

  10. No. It's not even remotely the same. And if you'd bothered to read the cite you'd know that. Of course, being responsible for behaviour conflicts with having your behaviour judged by irrational people and an irrational system. "Oh? You said something flattering about a picture of a model? You're fired!" There is a lack of reasonableness on the part of those enforcing the new puritan codes of conduct.

  11. This is hard to believe that the RCMP in the name of diversity recruitment are lowering recruiting standards https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/rcmp-recruitment-gender-1.4954015 Credit checks, aptitude test also being looked at as force deals with staffing crunch An internal document, obtained through access to information, suggests credit checks, the criminal background ban, the two-hour aptitude test and long stints at the training depot could all be eliminated from the hiring process as senior ranks try to make a career as a Mountie more attractive. The document notes that some of the mandatory requirements can create barriers for communities the force wants to attract, including "groups more likely to have contact with the criminal justice system."

  12. I don't think so. I believe this already started before she was detained. How about a moratorium on new members during the holidays? Since it is likely the forum will continue to be attacked, and the moderator could probably use a break. He might need to go celebrate Christmas, or something. I know we want to allow new folks to come in but it appears we can't lt them do that without some kinda oversight. Perhaps we need some kind of vetting process where each new member is an "applicant". They should not have the same rights as others who have already been here. We need to put up barriers to prevent new applicants from running amok in the forum.

  13. And Trump is about leaving Syria, just like Canada did a long time ago (e.g. CF-18s). Why is there a different expectation for Trump and the United States ?

  14. How many troops does Canada have in Syria (see "Operation Impact"). How many strike aircraft remain in theatre ? So the answer, at least for Canada/Trudeau is a resounding yes for Syria.

  17. I can generally understand your points about homophobia and misogyny, but the concept of xenophobia has been so corrupted as to be applied by many progressives to denigrate anybody who promotes a realistic approach to immigration or points out the very real problems associated with our current immigration and refugee programs. Progressives should recall the advice of the economist Milton Friedman, who noted that mass immigration and the social welfare state are incompatible. And other less well-known economists have reached the same conclusion. What happens when you try to combine the two is a decline in social solidarity and erosion of support for social welfare measures, and particularly for those measures that are seen as being redistributive. Where these matters are concerned, progressives can't both have their cake and eat it too. Xenophobia as it's currently understood and generally presented, doesn't belong in your hierarchy of moral failures.
