I must say that I don't pay any attention any longer to foreign women in muslim-veils. I kind of think they are prisoners of their culture and don't even themselves consider themselves as oppressed in any way. On the contrary, every time I see a Finnish woman or at least a white woman wearing those hideous muslim-clothes it really puzzles me. Maybe there will be a day even that is so commonplace that I won't pay any attention any more. But why oh why does any white Finnish woman do anything as insane as wearing muslim-veils. It has increased very rapidly and I can tell you that not a day passes here in Helsinki, our capital, that I wouldn't see white women wearing muslim veils. Some of them even wear the full veil but as their hands are bare you can see that they are white. As long as they are adults and do it out of their free will it is ok but let's not be gullible. It doesn't stop there. The next step is that people complain about being offended by women who don't dress "properly". Btw, what is the situation in the Canadian cities? His target for immigration in Canada for 2017 was set at the arbitrary number of 300,000 with no rhyme or reason. Now he has at least 60,000 unskilled illegal migrants who have come in less than 3 months. There needs to be a serious wake up call because Trudeau is going to announce a blanket amnesty rather than deport Haitiens and illegal migrants rom the US-that is where we are headed and that is going to mean all legitimate immigrants should not follow the legal system and crash the doors and come in illegally. As for the word refugee its now used to apply not to refugees but anyone.. If liberals and leftists had their way anyone who wanted should come to Canada. This pie in the sky notion takes no consideration of what that means in terms of medical service costs, housing, education. . The same leftist liberals who welcome immigrants are the first to blame everyone for being racist if we criticize immigrants who refuse to assimilate or commit crime. As this country now houses illegals in tents it has NO plans, no funding, no programs, no policies. Do ou think a visible minority minister who was a refugee himself would deport any visible minority? Do you think Trudeau will risk his image deporting anyone? We are in the midst of ethnic pandering politicians turning a blind eye on a social phenomena that if not properly controlled will cause social conflict. Well, the most economically successful immigrants - according to the government - come from Europe. So why not? A number of European countries have extremely high unemployment and so their young, educated people have little hope of getting decent jobs in the near future. Be honest. Any and all criticism of immigration seems like hidden racism to you, just like any and all criticism of Islam or Multiculturalism. Some immigrants come here and are successful. Some are not. In the old days, the ones who were not would leave. Now they stay around anyway, because the difference between the standard of living here, and that of their original countries is so enormous that even living on welfare here is better than the average where they came from. Marcus can say all he wants, but every public housing project is jammed with foreigners. And a very high percentage of people from certain areas of the world wind up living below the poverty line. More than 30% of Pakistani immigrants, 33% of Turks, and 34% of Iranians live below the poverty line. It's about 35% of Bangladeshis, Moroccans, Algerians and Afghans. 40% of Iraqis do. And that doesn't mean the rest are economically successful to the point they're paying much or any taxes, just that they're above the poverty line. Those and others are a drain on resources. For comparison purposes the figure is under 10% for people from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, the Phillipines and the Netherlands, and about 10% for Italy and Portugal with Indians being a bit higher. This is not an argument about colours. It's an argument about money and logic and common sense. That the cultural values of the people who are most economically succesful happen to fit in the best with ours is an added bonus. That they tend to be mostly white is coincidental to the conversation.

We are the first generation which has put in place a political class without much interest in protecting the people. Indeed, who are more than willing to accept a certain number of casualties in pursuit of their diversity agenda and to assuage their self-loathing and guilt. The European people overwhelmingly disapprove of how their governments are handling the migrants, but, as in Canada, the liberal press heaps scorn and abuse on anyone who questions the government on this issue, accusing them of racism and heartlessness while streaming cheery pictures of happy, smiling refugees (and ignoring the sullen, violent ones). But make no mistake, those people who died in Spain, and in Finland were murdered by Muslim terrorists, but the Finnish and Spanish governments were complicit in their deaths. The government of Finland and Spain most certainly knew that the more Muslims you bring in the higher the certainty of terrorist incidents killing some of their people. They simply did not care. Any more than Canada's government, which knows terrorism and social disorder is inevitably going to come of bringing in massive numbers of Muslims. The idea that this won't happen in Canada, despite it happening in every single country which has accepted Muslim migrants is absurd and no serious person believes it. Therefore, we know the Canadian government is aware it is no more immune from terrorism than Spain or Finland or France. But if a few Canadians, or a few dozen, or a few hundred die because of bringing in massive numbers of religious fanatics, well, that's something the Left is more than willing to accept. The victims are only Canadian, after all, and the Left feels no particular national attachment to them. Besides, they can simply replace them by bringing in more immigrants and refugees...

Technically, President Trump chose to extend the Haitian TPS for another six months until January 2018, mostly for politics in Florida. I believe this is referring to the Haitian Coup in 2004, when both the US and Canada implemented a deportation ban on refugees from Haiti, which was extended in 2010 after the earthquake there. The funny thing is, from what I can make out Trudeau himself cancelled that order last August, requiring Haitians to go back home. The US didn't cancel their order until May of this year, and the Haitians there decided to illegally enter Canada through the loophole created by the safe third country agreement rather than go home. Ironically, Trudeau apparently ordered the Haitians located in Canada to go back home, then promptly put out the welcome mat for the Haitians in the US affected by Trumps order to come on in.

Our country hasn't invaded Iraq or Afghanistan or anywhere else so the terrorist-attack was unfair also but that "you invaded our country, so I'm entitled to kill your people in your country"-defence is an excuse to start with. Perhaps if Conservatives stopped maligning Muslims every chance they got, they'd get more votes from them. Anyway, there is lots of talk about how awful it is to allow immigration, but we do have a declining birth rate as do many/most of the European countries from which some people think our immigrants should come. We can't keep our economic engine going without people, so is the idea that we raid European countries for their "educated white" people? Do you think those countries are going to be happy about that? What if they, in return, start raiding us for our "educated white" people? And, what makes anyone think that Canada is such a great place to be that enough people will come from 'preferred' countries to make up our shortfall anyway? Marcus has clearly demonstrated that our immigration system primarily brings in people who can make economic contribution to our country, regardless of their country of origin. Criticizing a policy that focuses on an immigrant's ability to be economically successful because it's letting in too many educated and economically viable people from countries where the skin color is predominantly not-white seems like hidden racism.

Everything about this country which is good owes itself to money. The Left, of course, don't like to admit that but it's true. You have to have economic success before you can have anything else good, before you can have social services the Left cherishes, for example, before you can have grandiose government funded projects and programs before you can have capable educational systems and institutions, and high quality health care. The higher the number of non-payers, or freeloaders in the system, the more the system bogs down, the higher taxes are raised on those remaining and the lower productivity plunges. Bringing over ever larger hordes of third world rabble who will not contribute much, if anything to the tax base, but will consume it instead, lowers the quality of living here.
