Prediction: Poilievre will never be PM
Barquentine replied to Barquentine's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Only worried for the Conservatives. Believe it or not I would like to see them as a strong sensible centrist party. But another reason PP won't succeed is because he will have to suck up to the far right, the way things stand. -

Guy got 41% of the vote. How do you explain that? -
Prediction: Poilievre will never be PM
Nefarious Banana replied to Barquentine's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It was over for Pierre Poilievre when the apple eating video was released. No matter that the woman/journalist was trying to bait him or was rude, Poilievre showed Canadians just how classless he could be. As Barquentine suggests, Pierre Poilievre will never be PM of Canada. -

You sound awful worried for a guy who thinks that this guy isn't going to win -
Dude we had this conversation They're deportation was well within the law. They were in America unlawfully and they were removed. If you don't like the laws in your country, then the choice is to change the laws. The choice is not to ignore the laws and break the laws just because you don't like that particular law. Unless you intend to challenge the law as being unconstitutional in court specifically but that's clearly not the case here. It is morally, ethically, constitutionally and criminally wrong to just decide you're going to support breaking a law because you don't feel like that law is a good law. And you can't condone and advocate other people breaking the law and then somehow pretend to be morally outraged because you feel that trump didn't obey the laws and now it's a horrible terrible thing for someone to do that. These people were in the country without lawful excuse and they were removed. There is nothing immoral or unethical or even remotely poor about that. And if anyone feels that there is there a recourse is to change the law I have more empathy if trump had been in power for the last four years but for god's sake it was Biden in the democrats who were in. They could have changed the laws at any time, but they absolutely did not and they just said well well we'll let criminals be criminals. Trump ran on the idea that that was not okay, and he won. That's pretty much the end of the discussion

Donnie strikes three Iranian nuclear sites
CdnFox replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I have to admit, on face value at this moment this appears to have been very well played by trump. I certainly don't hate him the way that most of the lefties here do and I frequently acknowledge that some of the things he does are decent or at least competent while others I'm less impressed with. I certainly don't buy into his cult of genius concept. But this is some seriously next level shit. In a very short time he took out Iran's nuclear program, ended a conflict between Iran and israel, has probably crippled Iran's ability to support his proxies and put them on notice that bad behavior will be punished which keeps their heads down, sent a message to bad guys around the world that you cannot expect that trump will sit idly by, wave the flag and got a little patriotism going, and showed by their lack of reaction that Russia and China are currently not relevant in that part of the world and are being a little meek. Like, that's a hell of a lot to achieve during the course of a presidency, never mind in a weekend. You'll have to see how the dust settles but honestly I am genuinely hyper impressed. -
CdnFox has a point, but the lack of symmetry in how much/little attention people pay isn't so easy to explain as that. Why did Canadian media pay more attention to the Boston Marathon bombing then the Quebec mosque shooting? People on the left will simply say that it's racism. They are wrong also. The problem is rather unfathomable, however you can frame the question very succinctly as a great Canadian named Harold Innis did: "Why do we attend to the things we attend to?" Maybe AI will figure it out.

Dude you are literally begging me for it to be true and not just me but others here as well including @WestCanMan. I think we all understand. You see strong males and people smarter than yourself as being 'dominant' and you want them to be interested in you but your letting your fantasies and wishes run away with you entirely. Sorry, i don't think anyone here is interested. I"m sure as you get older you'll find a nice boy who likes you for who you are.

Donnie strikes three Iranian nuclear sites

And now: Cease fire, and end of war. Zero American casualties and nuclear holocaust is avoided. So liberals want Trump impeached. Unbelievable. -
No wishful thinking at all, your previous multitude of posts clearly demonstrates your perversion and potential paedophilia as well as thanatophobia. No one on this forum can come close to you for ignorance and despicability. So sad to see a breathing human drop so low but you have shown it can be done.
-
Sorry, that's just your wishful thinking talking You have to stop wishing that every strong male on this board was hitting on you, it's not healthy. And none of us are your father. When you grow up you can look for a real boyfriend but until then you have to remember that it's not love just because you think someone can beat you up
-
Wow, what a Zinger! I'm sure when you tell it to your grade 3 class tomorrow they'll all laugh
-
So basically at this point you think you can try and make yourself look better by calling me all of the things that everybody else calls you LOLOL Haven't seen that particular stroke of logic since I graduated from grade three You do seem very desperate to find someone who will date you though. I take it you've been striking out in the real world
