IF they're short a few votes, then and only then would they have to attract those votes from the other side. And it might not be all that hard to find a handful that are mad enough at trump to consider it. also not everyone can show up for every vote. So they COULD do it on their own. or more likely they could come so close that they only need a few more to make it fly, and that's pretty doable right now. Many republicans are not entirely happy with trump. I suspect many wouldn't mind seeing JD take over. So it's a real threat that trump needs to consider.

Again - the only thing clear is you're lying about it. No other g7 economy is in recession. And carney himself has sworn up and down numerous times that we have the BEST deal in the g7. Our problems predate trump. As i noted for 5 consecutive quarters we've lost business investment. That takes us to just before trump was elected. And it's not getting better.
