down voting is lazy, this is a forum, where someone posts on topics you wish to have input on or receive input back....a down arrow says nothing except in this case flyer does not like you post, does not say why or what he did not like, "how do you respond to that" ...you can't ....flyer knows this i've told him many times, if you cant take the time to respond then don't....bother.....

Most of his posts are nothing more than name calling....what a waste of bandwidth, forces other to wade through pages of junk to see other posters comments ....Not very often does flyer post something related to the topic....

It is not a post count....there is already a post count....the reputation points reflects how well others see you....and what they think of your posts....-105 says he is not very well received....or his posts are flagged as garbage.....flyer has 12083 posts and most are not well received by the community..

I agree with you 100%. If you wish to comment on thread or topic, you should be able to but when you do and the retort from certain individuals is manipulate and change the quote to insult and then then  the origial topic is killed.... well what to do?

Yes, down votes are lazy...have you gone to verandi page and noticed the many hundreds of down votes he has given me in support of confux and has not made any posts himself?

Actually, reputation posts are posts minus down votes. If a person has well over 41,600 posts in less than three years...what do you think he is actually doing with his life???? I say, living his life precariously through this forum. If you read this individuals posts, you will see that most of them are name calling and insults to people that try to converse. I am not the only one that gets insulted and intimidated by him. At the very least, he calls most people he retorts to a lair. How do think you gain or lose reputation??? There is no button to push to give or take then away. No admin out there that decided and awards or punishes reputations..

I have tried to make comments to posts, not to confux but he steps in nonetheless and insults. I defend myself. My recent postings to him have all been the same...copy and pastes of the same thing yet he continues to manipulate and change my quotes to insult me.  I am not able to post and make comments without his barrage of insults, belittlement and name calling. I would like to discuss and debate with you but am in constant concern about confux interjection thereby spoiling any attempt at serious discussion..

As for my "reputation, it was all quite good until confux and verandi went on their recent (well, month long now) smear campaign. It takes a lot less to get into the negative range than it does for a person that has over 41,600 posts. (that is 38 posts per day)

Exactly how would you react to this constant insulting...even invoking your dead mother and father and calling you a child, a teenager and that it is time for your breastfeeding and your diapers need changing and more (as many of his recent post to me exclaim)??? When you make your opinion known about a subject and insults and name calling is his constant response to you. Do not even try to tell me you would just turn your shoulder and not respond. 

As I have said before, you and I have had lengthy military careers...in different fields, me from east to west and top to bottom, and we have served our military and country to the best of our ability regardless of what party was in power..  We are allowed to disagree as our experiences are vastly different. I have never questioned and will never insult your career.

You let them into your head and they will continue to do it....And i'm not telling you what to do, but i normally respond a couple of times like post a correction to what you really said....then ignore the rest or put them on ignore....solves that problem....

Again your letting these guys live in your head rent free, and for the most part they are responding to down arrows...

How do i react, i put those people on ignore, and only respond to posts i want to....i think you'll find it much easier to control who or what your spending your time with....of course if thats what your into keep doing what your doing ....

I have plenty of people attack my career on this forum, personally i don't care what they think, about me or my career....the Military was good to me, filled with like minded people, all of us were in the same boat, shared the same experiences....it was our governments that i did not really care about, their lack of action spoke volumes about where the military sat on the food chain, and regular Canadians mirrored that and were content with how our military was treated...not all but the majority....

Who claimed that any/all possible air defenses were destroyed?

The F-15 was reportedly shot down with some type of likely Chinese-made surface-to-air missile system that was carried by a person. 

The F-15 had to have been flying too low for it to be effective. 

This doesn't discount the wholesale systemic destruction of all of Iran's air defense systems to the point that both US and Israel were flying bombing missions at will across the country without much fear of being shot down.

Air Canada CEO's statement provided French subtitles, as he is not fluent in the language.   If he had tried, the usual suspects would criticize him for that as well.   

I agree.  We have a French culture that is very sensitive when people don't show that 'proper respect'.   I get it and think he should have done better, but a quick phone call and then back to what matters works for me. 

Air Canada is a private company, not all Canadian company CEO's speak French...it is not a requirement in all companies...

Lets remind you Carney struggled in French once he took office, Saying that he could have had translator, like they do in parliament...
