Michael Bluth Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 The guy doesn't even have the political sense to realize how odd it is to eat a hot dog with a fork and knife but he wants to appeal to the Tim Horton's crowd. Link “If this gets out, it could mean the end of the Liberal Party of Canada,” warned a local politico, requesting anonymity. And what, pray tell, has the Grits so up in arms? It seems that when Stéphane Dion touched down in Winnipeg last month, he and his entourage popped by North End mega-icon Kelekis for lunch. There, Dion shocked locals and his handlers by eating Kelekis’s world-famous hot dog with — gasp! — a knife and fork. No wonder the Liberals can't make any gains in the polls. Quote No one has ever defeated the Liberals with a divided conservative family. - Hon. Jim Prentice
Drea Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 That's too funny. Is that all the cons have -- OMG he ate a hot dog with utensils! Quote ...jealous much? Booga Booga! Hee Hee Hee
Leafless Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 The guy doesn't even have the political sense to realize how odd it is to eat a hot dog with a fork and knife but he wants to appeal to the Tim Horton's crowd. He probably sits down to pee to. Quote
Michael Bluth Posted May 25, 2007 Author Report Posted May 25, 2007 He probably sits down to pee to. Or does he get his wife to shake for him? Is that all the cons have -- OMG he ate a hot dog with utensils! Is all the Liberals have --- OMG he uses a stylist? Quid pro quo honey... guyser Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 Is all the Liberals have --- OMG he uses a stylist? Quid pro quo honey... Too funny, but nice stretch. Did taxpayers pay for the knife and fork?. Oh, gotta be childish and not forget this.. Quote
fellowtraveller Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 You folks are being too petty and critical. Dion has led a privileged , sheltered life. That may have been the first hot dog that he had ever encountered and he may have mistaken it for some kind of cylindrical pate. Quote The government should do something.

Michael Bluth Posted May 25, 2007 Author Report Posted May 25, 2007 I eat my pizza with a knife and fork, my pasta with a spoon and fork and my hot dogs I eat with relish. Do you use the hot dog as a utensil? Did taxpayers pay for the knife and fork?. Oh, gotta be childish and not forget this.. That's right. All of the posts about Harper's stylist were strictly about the amount she was being paid. None of them were about his weight, lack of personal style or the completely unfounded allegations that she was providing him with psychic guidance. Stephanie Dion is a pampered dilletante who is so out of touch with average Canadians he can't even eat a hot dog like a proletarian. None of them were about his weight, lack of personal style or the completely unfounded allegations that she was providing him with psychic guidance. You should read then. Because that is not what I ever posted about. It was hypocracy that was being posted. But dont let that stop you from spinning this. You already have admitted as much.(quid pro quo?) Because that is not what I ever posted about. It was hypocracy that was being posted. But dont let that stop you from spinning this. You already have admitted as much.(quid pro quo?) I never singled out just your posts on that thread. Are you saying that NOBODY, as in not just you, posted personal attacks on that thread? It's not enough for you simply to not take part. gc1765 Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 I think Ricki Bobbi said it best: If that is the best you can do it's pretty sad. Quote Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. We need to keep September 11 in perspective, especially because the ten thousand daily deaths are preventable. - Jeffrey Sachs (from his book "The End of Poverty")
Shakeyhands Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 Ricki, if you can't see the difference in your silly thread here and Harper not coming clean on what something is costing us as tax payers after having denied that we paid for it... well I dunno pal, you couldn't possibly be that partisan, could you? It seems surprising that someone has dug up an little note from way back in April. Since then, there have been several polls and the Liberals have come from being way behind to tied with the Tories. Seems like whatever happened had no impact. This is unlike Harper's make-up artist which was the beginning of a long slide from 40% in the polls all the way to the present 30% to 33%. Quote

This is unlike top dog Dion's long slide from 40% in the polls back in December, all the way to the present fork n' wiener 30% to 33%.
