Being that she was in a gigantic court battle for multi-millions, how long until the conspiracy theorists tie this to the Bush administration?

Her life was a bad soap opera. I feel sorry for the innocent 5 month old child, who is left with the legacy of a notorious mother and an uncertain paternity suit. Its like watching a train wreck.

She could have been taking weightloss drugs - they do cause death. Or maybe she developed an eating disorder and was malnourished. There is no evidence at this time to suspect foul play.

I suspect she was injected with collagen and botox, implanted with silicone, and given access to any kind of precscription/illegal drug she desired. Then, they made her heart race at lightspeed with the promise of free billions, then the threat of it being taken away, then back again. All under the watchful eye of everyone (without a life) on the planet.

Recently, she lost a reported 69 pounds and became a spokeswoman for TrimSpa, a weight-loss supplement. On her reality show and other recent TV appearances, her speech was often slurred and she seemed out of it. Some critics said she seemed drugged.

She used and abused her body like it was a red-headed step-child...= one dead bimbo.

I think "bimbo" is a terrible thing to say about any woman, but if there's anybody on earth that fit the description, Anna Nicole Smith was probably the one.

One person I imagine is glad Smith died is Lisa Nowak, who is no doubt relieved to be knocked off the front of the tabloids.

Its easy to see Anna Nicole Smith as a bad soap opera, as I said before. She lived, and probably died, in the fast lane, and it isn't any surprise that it finally caught up with her. But this baby is left to live her life, and what chance does she have to develop as a "normal", functioning, well adjusted and rational human being when her life is filtered through the lens of her notorious mother? That is why I feel compassion for this child, and hope that somehow, someone provides her with a secure and loving home. As the paternity suit continues, I wonder if this child will just be a pawn, or if someone actually cares about her as a child.

About 100,000 years ago, a similar scandal occurred. At the time, people in the clan were just as shocked by the behaviour of a woman as we are now surprised by Anna Nicole.

That's an interesting perspective, August. Without knowing a great deal about me, or Anna Nicole, or about the legacy either of us leave, how are you comparing our respective contributions to the future? This feels like a negative comparison, and I'm not sure where you are coming from in making it.
