Risk factors for covid were the same as for the flu - the very elderly, the very obese, the already terminally ill.

I picked Feb. 2018 Stats Can for flu cases - just under 51,000.

Your scenario would require EVIDENCE that "that someone from the lab" was sick with SYMPTOMS of the COVID virus prior to ANYONE else. Duh

You can follow the link in the superscript to find the original source.  That information can help settle disputes but not if the person you're chatting with denies the authority of the NYT, Globe and Mail, CTV and so on.

My wife was going through cancer treatment during that time. In the hospital regularly.

There were empty beds everywhere.

That the hospitals were full was a blatant lie.
