Pat Byrne is an American businessman and libertarian.

Pat founded Overstock in 1999 and served as CEO until 2019.

He resigned as CEO in 2019 due to controversies surrounding his past as a federal informant and his subsequent promotion of conspiracy theories, including claims of election fraud.

I seen Jim Morrison a couple weeks ago at the Safeway. I'm sure it was him. He looked a little long in the tooth, but he was still wearing his Leather Pants.

Not unless you got the bank deposit slip. LMAO

Do you know what a "suspicious activity report" is?

Quote
A Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) is a mandatory document filed by financial institutions with the U.S. Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). It is used to report known or suspected violations of law, such as money laundering, fraud, or terrorist financing, that have no reasonable business or lawful explanation.

Filing and Regulatory Requirements
  • Who Must File: Banks, casinos, money services businesses (MSBs), and securities brokers are legally obligated to file a SAR.
  • Thresholds: A report is generally triggered if a suspicious transaction involves $5,000 or more (when a suspect is identified) or $25,000 or more (when a suspect is unknown). For certain money service businesses, the threshold drops to $2,000.
  • Timeline: Institutions typically have 30 days after the initial detection of a suspicious transaction to file the form.

The Reporting Process
  • Filing System: All SARs must be filed electronically through FinCEN's BSA E-Filing System.
  • Form Used: Filers use the standardized FinCEN SAR (Form 111).
  • Record Retention: Financial institutions must keep a copy of the SAR and all supporting documentation for 5 years from the date of filing.

Key Policies and Confidentiality
  • Nofication Prohibition: Federal law strictly prohibits institutions from notifying the customer or individual involved that a SAR has been filed or that they are being investigated.
  • Safe Harbor: Institutions that file a SAR in good faith are granted immunity from civil liability under the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Public vs. Financial Reporting
If you are an individual wanting to report non-financial, physical, or behavioral suspicious activity (e.g., potential public safety threats), you should contact your local authorities or follow the protocols outlined by the Homeland Security If You See Something, Say Something initiative.

So why are you complaining about so-called lies then, when honesty and credibility so clearly don't matter to you?

You've basically just admitted that the only thing that matters is whether you like what you're hearing.  🤡

No donkey.  You've just admitted that you don't care how much Trump lies, which is a remarkably self-defeating statement for someone trying to criticize anyone else for supposed dishonesty.

The reality is that you live in a delusional clownworld where the veracity of statements is based on whether you like what you're hearing, and little else.

Reality? You mean the reality of 10+ million illegals invited into the states, while the POTUS and his bald-headed accomplice lies right to America's face about it?

What color reality is it that not just allows, but encourages kids to mess with their hormonal and physical development?

In this interesting reality you live in, do American citizens who are victims of crime matter at all? Or are they simply in the wrong place at the wrong time?

No Tweenkie-Poo...I'm afraid this reality of yours is warped beyond reason. Ya know how I'm so sure of that?

You live in the same reality as @robosmith.

No I mean you just said you don't care how much Trump lies immediately after b*tching about someone else supposedly lying.

Your boiler-plate culture war rant doesn't change that.  🤡

By E J Caroll's own testimony, she is known to have committed perjury during her trial against Trump, but you still consider her evidence-free, lie-filled testimony to be solid enough to warrant a successful guilty conviction.

So what if Patrick was known to be a federal informant? Is that a bad thing? Shouldn't people be telling the gov't about crimes? American taxpayers could have saved billions of dollars if eople informed them about Somali daycare scammers...

So what if he believes the election was stolen... You can never know for sure either way, can you? FYI the earth is full of people who know that crimes were committed, yet couldn't prove it. And you yourself believe that Trump was guilty of collusion, although never caught. So you have to acknowledge that "maybe Patrick is telling the trutgh, but he just doesn't have enough evidence".

Johnny: seeing as you're a guy who believes that E J Caroll's testimony was 100% legitimate, despite the fact that you know that she lied in that courtroom and had zero evidence, you have no credibility whatsoever when talking about matters of law, evidence and credibility.

Your posts about Elvis are cite, but they apply to dumb cultists like you, and not to any conservatives here.

Probably, but what does that have to do with how brazenly and shamelessly dishonest Trump is, and how you don't care about the lies when you like what you're hearing?  🤡

I doubt that CNN has a better track record than Qanon. Qanon must have been right about something at least once...
