Riiiiight.  Out of the thousands upon thousands of committee meetings and hearings from all over the world, I'm supposed to find the ones you've vaguely hinted at and on which you've offered absolutely zero specifics.  That makes so much sense.

1. My last 20 years has been a long slow dawning about how easy it is to get people to suck up nonsense if you package it correctly.  I'm past concerned - we are doomed if we don't find a way to deal with this.

BUT.... it's a different matter when serious institutions, which I stand by, fall into subjective moralizing or whatever we want to call this.  Objectivity is like gold these days and we need objective institutions to keep trying, because they might help us climb out of this.

Pick a topic and seek out the committees and hearings.

Does your mommy still wipe your a$$ for you, too?

EDIT:  Since you outright reject any country's own YouTube channel or X account as a source, and also reject substacks from people recommending to watch certain committees and hearings, it will be more difficult for you to find them.  Most country's have a facebook page with links to hearings etc, but you also reject those, so.....

You've effectively painted yourself into an informational corner by rejecting every source other than the CBC.  And they're not going to direct you to any info that goes against Liberal narratives.

When a country gives you a link to watch a committee or hearing and you reject the link because they posted in on their X account, I can't really help you.

RESEARCH YOUR POST

If you are stating a fact, be prepared to back it up with some official sources (websites, links etc). It is also important to structure your post in a way that everyone can understand. That means writing complete sentences and paragraphs with the appropriate grammar. If for some reason, you enjoy writing long confusing sentences and paragraphs riddled with poor grammar and spelling mistakes, your post, and therefore your opinions, will likely be discarded. Therefore, it is in your best interest to make sure that your post includes sufficient sources and contains a well-researched and well-organized argument.

And you constantly post without providing a single scrap of official sources of any type.

I don't often see people saying that they don't have to back up what they say.  It's kind of an anti-discussion position, another way to have people talking at each other, IMO

Not every request for links has to be honored.

Sometimes it's obvious they're not interested and won't look at any link anyways, they're just being obtuse.  Or most common - repeatedly ask for a link, you provide it, they disappear and then pop up weeks later asking for the same link, over & over & over.

Sometimes, like MoonFace above, they want all the links to all the countries, to all the committees and hearings, to all the topics I've ever listened to.  Not reasonable.

An opinion is an opinion and doesn't necessarily need a link.  Although when I post my opinion, I usually do post links that support why I have that opinion.

1. Cite please 😆

2. Maybe I do.  If so, ask for a cite  If I don't, bad on me.  But you don't have to PROVIDE one, as per the note you have to be PREPARED TO BACK IT UP if challenged.  Instead of saying "Does your mama wipe you..."

3. Your hypocrisy meter is broken.  You ascribe all kinds of wild things to me, it's a strange thing.  Do you still think Lake Erie is owned by Canada or did you withdraw that one ?  I bring it up because I don't remember the ending, and it was particularly funny.

He knows the political system inside and out and knows how to make it work for Canadians.  His policies show that.

He came from humble beginnings and knows first-hand the damage governmental policies can be to the little person because of what happened to his parents.

Ya, why would we want a guy like that, right?

Carney got very mixed reviews in England.  A lot of overspending.  A lot of unjustified expenses.  A lot of money printing that affected the economy negatively and caused massive inflation.  Stuck his nose in policies he had no business sticking his nose in.  His wife complained that their living arrangements were not up to their standards.

He has lived a privileged life.  Admitted he doesn't shop for his own groceries, so he has no clue about that.  And doesn't seem to care.

Agreed it was not a fair fight.  The CBC banned having Conservative views on their programming.  So, during the campaign Canadians were only exposed to Liberal propaganda and constant Conservative bashing.  And then you were programmed to poop your pants every time Trump tweeted and focus on the US president and not the Liberal bad record, the economic trouble Canada is in, the immigration failures that put all our social networks and infrastructure in jeopardy, the justice file failures......you ignored all that in favor of pooping your pants over Trump.

Now we have all the same problems AND tariffs.  And the same people in power who CAUSED all the problems.

The Conservatives gave Carney the power he wanted to fast-track industry and after a year......ZERO projects fast-tracked.  But LOTS of censorship bills fast-tracked.  THOSE were prioritized.

Ya, you're real smart. 🙄

Let us know when you're done pooping your pants so we can get to work and get this country back on track.

He should know the political system, it's all he's ever done in his life!  What policies???

Ahhhh... it's a cute story that he came from humble beginnings but so what, a lot of people do.

Overspending in England...  I always thought a central banks role was to set monetary policy?  Government is responsible for fiscal spending, and Carney wasn't part of the government.  Think about what you're saying before you say it. The rest is your usual X and Facebook fueled rant...

Good for him in living that privileged life.  He worked hard for it and needless to say, has been very successful.

Ahhhh.... another shame that MSM is part of our news medium.  If you keep thinking your sources of 'news' are reliable, you'll continue being the only one is this convo continuing to 'poop' their pants.

How did Carney cause these tariffs?  Like I said above, think before you talk.

Yes and no... The conservatives didn't/don't want to go to the polls because they know many MP's including Poilievre would be out of jobs.  Try reading more beyond your X as to what's happening...  unless of course you believe only project is a pipeline (which I'm sure you do), See if you can Smith's comments today with her saying she'll miss the upcoming deadline for that project.  Carney's fault I'm sure...

Try to relax... Have a glass of wine if it will help calm the nerves.

Yup, but I also think it's a two way street. We need a more objective population that's ready to meet our institutions part way in its shared responsibility for keeping societies shit in a more manageable pile. People have thrown out so many babies while bailing out their bathtubs...there's nothing left for them to climb on.

We're also becoming less governable at the same time our institutions are less able to govern.

In addition to bailing the tub we've also pulled the plug.
