I don't think it is very high either, but when you take one fifth of the worlds oil off the table, it tends go up, and the Americans will not be impressed. Quote

LONDON, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Global energy markets face one of their gravest shocks in decades as joint U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran and Tehran’s retaliatory missile attacks across the Gulf disrupt oil exports from the world’s most important producing region. The scale of the disruption will likely be determined by the duration of the conflict, but for now the threat and the uncertainty are already enough to severely impact flows from the region that accounts for 20% of global oil supplies. John Johnston Posted February 28 Author Report Posted February 28 From quagmire to quagmire. Everything Trumps touches turns to shit. America just spent a year insulting and demeaning all their ally's. Everybody wants to put Iran in it's place to be sure, but to have the most incompetent, dishonest man in the drivers seat serves nobody but himself. Have fun. Quote

CdnFox Posted February 28 Report Posted February 28 1 hour ago, Nationalist said: Why? How would they deliver it? There are many ways, the US is modeled many of them in the past. There are measures in place to try to prevent a country from sneaking a nuclear bomb into the USA but they can all be defeated fairly easily with a bit of work. I mean you can build nukes as small as 51 kg. most illegal immigrants are more than that and we see millions of those smuggled across the border . So obviously it's not hard to build specific nukes that are designed to avoid detection and can be shipped in or smuggled in a variety of different ways. You could put a pretty good sized one on a commercial airline and fly it in and detonate it over a city, only a few people on board would have to know and be willing to sacrifice their lives. As far as europe goes iran already has missiles in it's inventory that can reach to england, passing over germany and france and all those european countries on the way. So all of our european partners would be at risk Quote Why would they deliver it. Who knows? Why'd they do 9/11? Don't ask me to explain the crazy, i'm still trying to work out why Herbie and Robosmith exist But if they're building them, they must be thinking there's times where they'd use them. Quote Im sorry but the only people I believe might start a nuclear halocaust is Isreal. Well in that region right now they're the only people who could. But if iran had operational nukes there's no reason to think they would be LESS likely to and many reasons to think they'd be more likely to. Worse given their funding of hezbolla, hamas, the houthi, etc it's quite likely that they would look at giving one to a terrorist group and having them conduct the attack so they could plausibly deny involvement and disrupt the allies. it's absolutely true and indisputable that nothing good comes of them having them and many bad things could come from them having them.
