Stopping federal funding is the only way to stop the bleeding right now. It will take years to investigate, prosecute, and recover fraudulent funding. Anecdotal discussions with some Somali Americans and immigrants suggest surprise at all the fuss over such fraud. Perpetrated by and large by people that generally contribute nothing and in fact are a net drain on the US economy. Possibly the most blatant FU ever given to the United States from a group that should be among the most thankful to be able to live in that country.
