And you thought he was here to do what's best for Canada? He's here to steal as much as he possibly can for himself and for his friends who will reward him when he's out of office

The better part of 700,000 a year

Federal Defence Investment Agency CEO making close to $680K annually | Toronto Sun

This is for the newly created defense department procurement agency which is another layer of bureaucracy that's supposed to help make procurement go faster. It won't, but defense spending just went up about a million dollars a year after his benefits and allowances for food and travel are factored in.

This guy was a banker, he has no experience with procurement by the way

He read part of the Sun Tzu, so he's qualified to select our next generation of fighter planes.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

They have the unbeatable knowledge and skills to perform any task.

Sounds like the plot from a wet Netflix movie.

Can you imagine the media reaction if Harper had done something like this, or if Poilevre got in and did it? They'd be running with it 24/7. But because a Liberal did it, they really aren't interested.

I am absolutely constantly flabbergasted at their ability to lie to themselves to the point where they reverse their thinking in 2 seconds.

During the election they were all insisting that if carney got in he'd be able to handle trump and force him to give us a good deal whereas Poilievre would simply cave and give trump everything he wanted. Now that carney is giving trump everything he wanted they're screaming about how this is the only sensible strategy and how we're stupid for suggesting otherwise.

If harper appointed business buddies of his to fake cabinet positions for 3/4 of a million a year they would lose their minds but Carney does it and its "of COURSE, why would you ever think he should do OTHERWISE?
