You didn't until provoked. you tried to avoid responding to me as much as you could, while still responding to me indirectly.

This makes so much sense.  You've seen through my devious subterfuge.

I'm responding to you indirectly, but trying to avoid responding to you, by mocking you almost directly underneath your last post.  🤡👍

They probably calculate quality of life as they outlined at the very top of the report;

Quality of Life

Beyond the essential ideas of broad access to food, housing, quality education, health care and employment, quality of life also may include intangibles such as job security, political stability, individual freedom and environmental quality. Through all phases of life, these countries are seen as treating their citizens well.

Then there’s no way Canada is 4th! 😂

So in otherwords they made up literally everything and just fiddled with the values for each till they got what they wanted :P

Yeah.  That's about right.

There are reasonable ways of quantifying quality of life for the purposes of comparison.  "Muh Feels About Everything" isn't one of them

If by "devious subterfuge" you mean 'stupidity mixed with fear of your betters" then sure ;)

No, you're passively aggressively responding to me by doing so to another person instead of me directly.

And it's a common thing you see children do. Sigh. You've never had brains but at least you used to have balls.

I was just just agreeing with Chrissy on how ridiculous your source was.   If 2+ years of me directly calling out your belligerent foolishness was too passive aggressive for you, I'm not sure what universe you live in anymore.

I stopped engaging with you seriously a long time ago for the same reason I don't bother conversing with the screaming homeless guy in the subway.  It doesn't matter what the topic is or who you're debating against.  You will derail the thread and make it all about you.  You will carry on and spam the same collection of useless insults and project your emotionality on others, and you will continue to do so as long as you continue to get reactions.

You're just a noisy, lonely dude looking for attention.  Touch grass.  🫡

No, you weren't. You weren't even part of the discussion, but as always you feel the need to attack me whenever you can because you've been made to look so stupid so often. But you're too petrified to actually address me directly.

Like I said those of us who were adults recognize the childish behavior you're exhibiting. Perhaps you think you're being clever, I'm sure most children do.

And the source is fine. You can discuss its merits and we can look at other sources as I posted but you didn't do any of that.

And as I have since shown there is plenty of evidence to corroborate those numbers being fairly accurate.

And you stop engaging with me because you get your ass handed to you every time you open your mouth. How's your math lessons going?

But you still want to try and attack what I say without having to be responsible for it so you talk to Chrissy referring to my stuff instead of talking to me.It just shows how weak those on the left are. You can't figure out how to make an intelligent argument so this is how you behave.

Yes, our housing prices are the worst in the G7 and G20.

More importantly the number of homes to population ratio is also the worst. The two are connected, and it's difficult to fix one without fixing the other.

Well, since you want to be selective with your info:

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/canada-ranked-best-country-world-161815694.html

Canada took the No. 1 spot as the world's most desirable country to move to, beating out Australia, Japan and even the United States — which only managed to rank fifth overall.

So why is Canada's ranking in the world so high right now? The research highlights a few major motivators. According to the report, the biggest reason people dream of moving to Canada is for a better quality of life.

"With access to excellent education and health care, as well as safe cities to live in and the opportunity for lots of outdoor activities, Canada offers the stability and balance a lot of people are searching for," the report explains.

Your poll is about what's on people's wish-lists, not the objective reality of the current standard of living.

People still think of Canada the way it was ten years ago, but a lot has changed:

  • Racial division is rampant here now. Hate rallies aren't uncommon
  • we no longer have anything resembling media integrity
  • our country is teetering on the verge of fascism: during covid we were August 1938 Germany
  • violent crime is soaring (up 41% since 2014)
  • Canada didn't suck in 2014

I've experienced it the other way, the worse people say things are the better my own circumstances seem to be.

Health, finances, life enjoyment...

You've spent half your time here explaining that the opposite is true. You also say that our economy and society is about to collapse, and that the world is going to end due to global warming or something similar.

Whatever your experiences are, we just have to wait 5 minutes and you'll have had new ones

Not good news when you consider how cold it is here in winter.

Definitely. One of the many reasons Vancouver's homeless population keeps going up rapidly. The only place in all of Canada that still relatively mild in the winters

We need to build an additional 250 k to 300,000 homes above and beyond what we normally build which is about 250,000 homes Each and every year just to catch up by 2035.

There is a way to do that, but Carney's plan to have an investment bank is absolutely not going to help I will only make certain friends of his a little wealthier

Carney's solution to homelessness: more bankers.

Carney's solution to finding fighter jets: hire a banker.

You need a banker for these jobs, considering all the loot they're going to be hauling away at Canadians expense

It might be something you're doing you know.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,

You're arguing with yourself, at one point saying it's going great and then the next sentence saying how terrible it is for you and the world.

It's like you want everything to be terrible and yet you also want everything to be great at the same time ;)  You're like Schrodinger's twat :)
