To all those who called Danielle Smith a traitor for saying exactly what Carney is now, do you regret your stupidity or is Carney a traitor?

It was only a couple of months ago that Daniel Smith put forward the idea that tariffs were bad and that we would get further by working with donald rather than trying to oppose him.

Almost universally the left wing supporters on this board condemned her as being a traitor to her country for such talk.

Now carney is saying exactly the same thing, that we get to a deal by giving up rather than fighting back. And suddenly all you lefties think it's the greatest idea in the entire universe

So how stupid do you feel right now for your sudden complete reversal? Were you being uneducated twats back then, where are you being mindless goons now? Curious as to your thoughts

No but his hatred of the Liberal party in Canada equals that of a MAGAt so he doesn't care about common sense.

Besides, just open up that Keystone XL line and Alberta's Danielle Smith will forget all about tariffs, Canadian unity and 51st state BS and go back in her closet hunting books to ban and services to privatize.

But while I'm here, I'd love to point out to our American friends that in the Alberta byelection the separatists didn't even get enough votes to fill an egg carton. So take the stories you hear with a grain of salt.

Ummm.... who did you think we're talking about ?  This is the negotiation with donald trump and the US trade deal.

You DID hear that there was an election and donald won right? I assume you haven't got zucchini deafness or something?

Awww muffin, still scared to talk to me directly i see :)   I can imagine it's hard for you to live in fear :)

That I have to say, you really have done yourself this time when it comes to stupidity. Everyone expects Robo Smith to be this dumb but you honestly can't see how a negotiation with the united states might have something to do with the united states? This is literally a discussion about our trade negotiations with their trade people

It's every bit as much a US issue as it is a Canadian one and why shouldn't they chime in?

I merely prefer to talk to someone marginally intelligent. About the subject being discussed.
Which is utter gibberish comparison of apples to oranges.

It's about YOUR INTERNAL POLITICS. AKA NOTHING TO DO WITH US FEDERAL POLITICS.

You even said it's the SAME POLICY. Duh

No this is the wrong read. The reason for Albertan 51st is because of the Equalization payment. More pipelines won't resolve that, it'll make it worse since there are more money flowing to tax with mor oil to sell.

Kinda, really the Canadians should be viewed more as a unofficial territory of the United States. Their biggest fear is the US annexing one of their province and breaking up "Canada", whatever that word is supposed to mean. Most Canucks think of themselves as "non-American" which I find amusing. It's like a bedtime story they tell their children to explain the concept of Canada.

Rather than someone ACTUALLY intelligent.

Yeah, that tracks. You can't handle actual intelligence :)

ROFLMAO!!!

Gee...how did i and several others, know the Carney was full o' sh1t with his "Elbows Up" campaign?

If I remember correctly, you bought into that nonsense. So now you think you can invoke common sense? What...do you think we dont remember your posts as the election was on-going?

You've exposed yourself...once again...as a total goof.

They felt normal. They always run their mouths and then end up being wrong.

In fact, I'm gonna stop calling them left wing and start calling them "wrong wing" now.

Ask them how they feel the first time they're right about something, if you're still young enough to type when the time comes.

You stated that 'perfectly' 😘

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

New drinking game: whenever CBC cites "polling data" and you believe them, you put a stick of dynamite in your mouth and do the world a favour.

It has everything to do with your politics, sorry kiddo.  I know you're intellectually challenged, did you need me to explain it in crayon?

Yeah, fair enough. :)   It's not even that they're constantly wrong that bothers me, its' how in the very same breath or sentence they can do a 180 on what they claimed was an absolute verified thing if it suits their argument.

"TRUMP is an EVIL DICTATOR and we MUST be ELBOWS UP and fight back with reciprocal tariffs at all costs and..."

Carney just dropped the tariffs.

"...  and we're DAMNED LUCKY HE DID because fighting back against TRUMP is STUPID and we must ACCEPT what trump tells us to do and that's ALWAYS BEEN OBVIOUS!!  We should never be "elbows up"!
