Since the evening of Feb 1 when Trudeau  went on live tv to announce that Canada would be fighting Trump’s illegal and unjustified tariffs and the road ahead would be rough, Canadians knew what wr were getting into   We knew that Trump would cause layoffs and recessions on both sides of the border, likely far worse in Canada, and the only option for Canadians was to fight and pivot away from USA. And we voted for it in overwhelming numbers, knowing there would be casualties along the way.

FYI there was a time that Canada was a solid, respectable country with vast mineral wealth and prime real estate that we couldn't possibly protect with our small population (2014), but we had the USA beside us so invading Canada was impossible.

Like seriously it’s already been explained to you that Canada’s smart targeted retaliatory tariffs, which are temporary, are different than Trump’s dumb, across/the board permanent tariffs against every country in the world. You’re clearly intellectually challenged which is why you couldn’t finish school, but surely you can STUDY REL HARD and figure that out.
