You never heard the phrase, "will no one rid me of this meddlesome Priest"? Quote The quote is famously attributed to King Henry II of England, who allegedly exclaimed this about Archbishop of Canterbury Thomas Becket in 1170. The phrase has since become a famous historical reference to an indirect or deniable order, where the speaker's words are interpreted by others as a command to take action. Guess what? Someone offed the Priest a short time later. 💡 Quote

You really think ICE was just randomly grabbing 13 year olds or this one in particular. Like: Hey grab that 13 year old! Just because I feel like it! And throw him in with the adults! 14 minutes ago, Michael Hardner said: Especially after asserting that it doesn't happen. Even you are not really going to be this obtuse as to completely not get the point I was making by. So… really? Quote

Apparently he had a history of violent crime including assault with a weapon, battery and break and enter. At the time of his arrest he was in possession of a firearm and knife. His initial arrest was the result of an altercation with local police... they didn't grab him out of his bedroom doing homework. It was that arrest which led to ICE taking custody of him. You're shown to be wrong yet again and you wave your arms yet again... I was not shown to be wrong at all. The conversation flow I was responding to was the dramatization over the separation of kids from their parents, and the point I was making, which is true, is that the US doesn't lock kids up with their parents when the parents are arrested for some crime. The fact that some kid for some unknown reason happened to get locked up doesn't somehow prove I am wrong. Lets go back to my entire comment in context, if you read that second sentence, it is quite clear the point I was making: "Children are seperated from parents because we don't put children in detention. It is no different than if a parent was caught breaking the law with their children by reckless endangerment in a car, DUI, or any number of things... they don't put their children in jail with them.
