  • West changed the title to Long overdue: The FBI launches a criminal investigation into Comey and Brennan over collusion delusion

Good to see that the retribution tour is back in the news. Throw more sh*t against the fan to distract from his failing so-called tariff policy that's taken up recent news space.  Maga won't care tomorrow about the inflation that's coming, they'll have bigger fish to get in Brennan and Comey.

The tarrif policy is failing? How?

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Tariff %'s change on his whim, dates keep getting extended because nobody is bowing to his commands, and he's taking heat because of it.

Remember "liberation day'.... 90 trade deals with 90 countries in 90 days.  How many trade deals does he have?

Why do you think that is true? Deals are being cut. Negotiations are happening. How is that a loss? No one has done this before. Just the fact the act is happening is a win.

A few. Not nearly 90. But just finishing the deals isn't the goal. Finishing good deals is. Trump also planned on exiting Afghanistan but didnt because conditions were not right. Enter Joe Biden and he pulls out just to make a deadline and for no other reason. How well did that work out?

But the tarrifs are raising revenue:

U.S. tariff revenues could reach $300-billion this year, Treasury Secretary https://www.theglobeandmail.com/world/us-politics/article-us-tariff-revenues-could-reach-300-billion-this-year-treasury/

Most people have plans. Him and his band of the equally inept have none.  In the meantime uncertainty affects business decisions and investments.

It's a loss because of the uncertainty hanging over business, that trickles down to the consumer.  Yes, this has been done before, in 1930 and didn't work out well, like this won't.

I don't care about Biden or Afghanistan....this is about his so-called tariff policy

It'll be interesting to see what comes in these investigations.

It has definitely long been held that there were bad actors involved with the whole Russia collusion thing. If it turns out there was validity to the charges it's going to be yet another blow to a democrat party that is already on his heels and burning like a dumpster fire

I doubt we are seeing the last of trump's revenge on those who used the lawfare against him. I'm sure his list is long

Short term pain comes with long term gain in this case.

Its not about Biden. Its about making the timeliness the most important thing. So what if a time line passed? The bigger, more important issue is getting the right deal.

I'm glad liberals finally get that taxes are paid by the end user. However, am I? Ultimately, yes, the end user pays allnthe costs associatednwith a good or service. Still, prices haven't gone up. In fact, inflation is hovering right at the 2% the fed says is ideal.

You should also know that the price to consumers is based on supply and demand, not taxes. Adding tariffs does not, necessarily increasing the price to consumers. It may decrease profits. This argument that tarrifs automatically raise costs is completely wrong. Without studying the competitors costs and ability to meet demand, the ability of consumers to spend more and values of currencies over the same period of time, it is impossible to guess what the outcome will be.

You've chosen the outcome you want to be true rather than letting facts and data dictate your response.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

That's funny!  No prices haven't gone up yet but it's early in the supply chain but the assumption is that tariffs with raise inflation while growth slows.  It's why the Fed hasn't touch rates despite where inflation is.

Surprisingly to you I hope for a zero outcome as well with no inflation. Not the way it works though.  Companies will eat a smaller margin for a competitive edge, but unlikely to eat a large margin for no sales gain and a loss of profit - you get that.

I've chosen no outcome because I can't figure out what Trump is doing or really wants, and obviously nobody else can either.  Ever wonder if he can figure himself out?  Anyway, hoping there's little affect. The US has always been and will be #1 or #2 economy in the world so of course you want trade.  A lot of countries have looked elsewhere to diversify their trade because of Trump.  Can't see how that's good for the US long term.

Well I think you're both kind of missing a point, if all we're talking about is the tariffs then yes it's a tax and yes people will pay more or businesses will make less which means that businesses won't be excited about starting businesses. It would be bad.

But the premise is that this will force or promote development of Businesses in America to service that market. Americans will theoretically build more cars, make more products, cut more wood and mine more copper. Investment in American Business will actually go up because it's cheaper to build in America and so in America than import.

This is the theory. If the theory pans out then the additional revenue to the government of a revitalized and turbocharged economy would be extremely significant and may help substantially reduce the deficit instead of raising taxes to do so

If it doesn't, then this is actually going to hurt the economy and be an anchor on it so it will underperform compared to how it would have.

We won't know the answer for that for a little while. It certainly won't make things that much better overnight.

But by the third or fourth quarter we should start getting some idea of how things are: And how business is feeling about its future, and by the end of 2026 the picture should be relatively clear. Either it will be working or it won't

But it's way too soon to say that he doesn't have a plan or that this is somehow harmful to Americans until we see the final results

Flynn was the lDIOT who didn't know if ANYONE talks on the phone with Russians, esp top level officials, YOU WILL BE SPIED ON. But on top of that, he went to Russia and had dinner with Putin. 🤮

It's SOP.

And @Deluge DOESN'T KNOW IT EITHER. LMAO

Apr 18, 2017  NBC News reviewed video and photos from a 2015 Moscow gala that Mike Flynn was paid $45,000 to attend to see who else was in the room.

Even you know the difference, don't you?   Hint - one is a president who's role it was to engage with world leaders and the other was a friend of Krasnov's that got to play in the administration for 3 weeks.

I see your $45K and raise you $455K.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5009373/FBI-surprised-Bill-Clinton-took-500-000-Russia.html

When former President Bill Clinton received a $500,000 check from a Kremlin-linked bank in 2010 to give a speech in Moscow it served, to the FBI, as further evidence the Russians had unleashed an influence campaign designed to get access to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

And you can bet that the FBI/NSA kept close track of communications (spied on) between Russians and Bill. Duh

Either it is disgusting to associate with him... or it is not. You can engage with disgusting people without acting happy and like pals, smiling for the cameras.

I mean... if mere association with being next to him is so disgusting.

I bet they didn't. With Trump, they used DNC paid propaganda, leaked the propaganda to the press, used the press release to convince a judge there was a there there and then leaked that the judge signed off on it all to create the impression of impropriety. Did they do any of that with the Clinton's who made millions upon millions from a foundation that collapsed after 2016.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

This is so delicious.

Traitors are getting exposed and their legacies trashed. One by one, the perpetrators are being publicly disgraced. Dragged through the mud of their own making.

Simply delicious.

You are dining on BULLSHIT, but that is delicious to you.

There will be no investigation, because the announcement is just another DISTRACTION from the FAILURE to release the Epstein files because Trump is DESPERATE to keep them HIDDEN.

Did you hear the desperation in his voice when he interrupted Pam Bondi from answering a reporter's question about Epstein? They probably didn't play that tape on FOS LIES. LMAO

You could have taken a CLUE from Trump's PREVIOUS answer about releasing the Epstein files (client list) in which he immediately said yes! and then quickly backtracked with an obviously BOGUS excuse about concern for "fake" information in those files.

This is so stupid. You are just as big of a brain-dead conspiratorial nut as anyone else is.

The Epstein files, whatever they are, have existed throughout the entirety of the Biden administration. If there was something there damning to Trump, you think Biden was in on the conspiracy to keep them from the American people too?

The real story is that Biden was going to release the files, but trump's people hacked his teleprompter and kept erasing the bits that talked about it so nothing happened
