The public had lost faith in Biden and did not like him even before the debate, and after the debate they also distrusted the democrats in general because it became obvious that they had lied and Biden wasn't fit to stand her office. She wasn't going to win by pretending she was Biden with Breasts, and frankly given how she came to power she couldn't even use the same campaign team (they disliked her quite a bit). 

All she had going for her was the intense media hype and that bumped her up to start but then she was in glide mode, slowly losing height till the end of the campaign.  Like I said at the time, her first week or so was going to be her best, and then it would be a slow decline, and she needed to start off high enough so that even after she lost ground she was still ahead of Trump.  And she just never did get that height. 

After that half her campaign was giggling followed by the next half of calling trump and his supporters Nazis and that was just going no where. She never had a well put-together campaign and she wasn't going to.

Yes. She was a bad candidate. In part because she wasn't good at her job and in part because she was tied to the worst President in modern history. That's why I say they had a better chance with a more moderate (aka less radical) Democrat wkth some name recognition.

Trump's liability is that he makes some people's teeth itch. You've seen it on here. They criticize everything he does regardless of how it makes them look. And that is true for some conservatives and some Republicans. A solid moderate would have had a chance IF they could have started sooner AND put together a coherent, digestible and populist message.

Trump was not inevitable, but thanks to Joe’s cognitive decline, inflation (not Joe’s doing) and immigration (a lot of Joe’s doing) he became an unfortunate reality again.  

He’s been “mostly” good for the US…really?  His approval rating of 41% approve and 54% disapprove would suggest that people think otherwise.
