Well...Trump's Big Beautiful Bill has passed the House.

I like the result.

So...the Democrats are all in an uproar claiming Medicaid and Welfare are being cut. Here's the truth:

These provisions will keep illegals off Medicaid...which is a good thing...and push "able bodied" welfare recipients to actually DO SOMETHING (which is also good).

How can anyone disagree with this?

I have to take a closer look at it. 

I heard the softer side of the Republican party got its filthy digits on it and watered it down.

Ya they insisted on bigger state deductions. Its "pork" for their constituents...nothing more.

Politicians playing politics. They scream for a balanced budget out one side of their mouths...and scream for less federal income out the other side.

Once Trump is done with the spending needed to finish The Wall and assorted other expenses, I believe he will push for a more balanced budget in the future.

You OBVIOUSLY don't know the details about the House bill.

For one thing, it forces the unprecedented cutting of $500 BILLION from Medicare.

Fortunately it is unlikely to be passed by the Senate.

I think a resurgent moral imperative to not be a drag on society along with the rise of AI and automation in the workplace might result in an even stranger dystopian world.
