More ^vile nonsense from the proven LIARS at FOS LIES and West.

Blocking the clearly inapplicable invocation of the AEA DOES NOT MEAN "US citizens must tolerate their children getting raped and fed drugs by drug cartels," LIAR

NO ONE forces children to take drugs, ever.

Imagine, the SCOTUS voting to uphold the constitution. The only disgusting thing is that two actually voted against it. Thomas was bought and paid for long ago and Alito is just MAGA.

They aren't voting to uphold the Constitution because the power for this case rests with the Congress.

Trump could refuse to abide by the court order and the only remedy would be impeachment.

The Courts are being very naziesque by continuing to overstep on article ii powers of the presidency and should be put in their place.

Then we just deport their asses because they're here illegally. Nothing complicated, just ship their asses out. ;)

The President is going to have to put the entire legal system on notice. Anyone caught f*cking with immigration enforcement will be arrested.

The AEA clearly says it's ONLY for wartime. We are not at war with Venezuela.

Quote
The Alien Enemies Act (AEA) is a US law that gives the President the power to detain or deport foreign nationals of an "enemy nation" during wartime. It was originally enacted in 1798 and has been invoked three times in US history: during the War of 1812, World War I, and World War II. The AEA is a controversial law, with some arguing that it is an overreach of executive power and a violation of due process.

Here's a more detailed look at the AEA and its use:

Key Provisions:
  • .Opens in new tab
The AEA is a wartime law, meaning it can only be invoked when the US is at war or facing an invasion from a foreign nation.

  • .Opens in new tab
The law allows the President to detain or deport foreign nationals, specifically "natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects" of an "enemy nation".

  • .Opens in new tab
The AEA has been used to target various groups during times of war, including British nationals during the War of 1812, Germans and Austro-Hungarians during World War I, and Japanese, Germans, and Italians during World War II.

Controversy and Criticisms:
  • Lack of Due Process:
Critics argue that the AEA allows for detentions and deportations without due process, violating fundamental rights.

  • Potential for Abuse:
The AEA has been criticized for its broad language, which some argue could allow for its misuse for non-wartime purposes.

  • Historical Internments:
The most notorious use of the AEA was during World War II, when it was used to justify the internment of 120,000 Japanese Americans, a period of great injustice and hardship.

Recent Use:
  • In March 2025, the Trump administration invoked the AEA in connection with the alleged invasion of the United States by Tren de Aragua.
  • This use of the AEA has been widely criticized, with many legal scholars and civil rights groups arguing that it is a misuse of wartime authority.
  • The administration's actions have also raised concerns about the potential for the indefinite detention of individuals in El Salvador, beyond the reach of US courts.

In conclusion, the Alien Enemies Act is a controversial law that grants the President broad powers during times of war. Its historical use, particularly during World War II, has sparked significant debate and criticism. Recent attempts to invoke the AEA in connection with the Tren de Aragua have further raised concerns about its potential for abuse and misuse of wartime authorities.

The SCOTUS will allow someone's name to be smeared for decades if it's a lefty cause but will intervene ASAP if it impacts the cartels.

It's very telling. These people are sick

The SC prioritizes foreign drug cartels over American citizens. Truly sick people

It was even too much for Trump's three appointees to stomach. So yes, you are sick.

Basically, no one here bothered to read the actual case here at all.

Exactly.  The Supreme Court sent it back to the lower court before they make any kind of decision.
