Nope. As usual, your solution is dumb and dishonest. Rather than following the spirit of the law--which exists for important reasons--you're just looking for another shortcut. The spirit of the law is to not allow millions of people to flood across the border, to give them an app on their phone to schedule their entry, to support Sanctuary cities not cooperating with ICE to deport criminals when they are released from jail...

No it doesn't. When did Hitler ever try anyone in a kangaroo court? Stalin maybe but even there it's pretty weak

In fact is if someone's in the country illegally they should be deported. It's fine to give them one last chance to make sure that they can present an argument if there has been some sort of error. But there's nothing democratic about allowing them to misuse the system to try and extend their stay.

Either they have documents to prove their legal or they don't. If they don't goodbye. If they do or they can demonstrate that they are in the country legally with some more time than fine.
