Moonlight Graham Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 (edited) This is wild... Lebanese-born man allegedly bombs a synagogue in Paris in 1980. A Canadian citizen since 1993, he's extradited by Canada to France in 2014 for trial. In 2018 a French judge drops the charge & Diab is released but 2 days later returns to Canada with help from Canadian officials after being ordered to stay in France during appeals, then in 2023 the highest French appeals court finds him guilty, sentencing him to life in prison & issuing an international warrant. He's now a sociology instructor at Carleton University in Ottawa teaching a course about....himself...called "SOCIAL JUSTICE IN ACTION"., studying "the relationship between abuse of power and miscarriages of justice" and to "Critically examine Canada’s Extradition Law and its shortcomings". Students focus on a case study (himself) and in his course syllabus he points to his own website https://www.justiceforhassandiab.org/ for students to study. Moonlight Graham Posted January 2 Author Report Posted January 2 (edited) I've never seen a university instructor teach a course about his own legal defense, very odd. Interesting case too. CdnFox Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 How is this not a Beaverton article? I can't believe this is true, even in Canada we can't have slipped this far can we? Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
ironstone Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Meanwhile, Justin Trudeau has indicated he would have Benjamin Netanyahu arrested if he set foot on Canadian soil. And this guy is openly indoctrinating students at Carleton. Quote "Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it." Thomas Sowell
suds Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Nothing makes much sense to me either. Unless they're purposely withholding evidence for whatever reason, there's very little to go on. Knowing what we know, I'd say there's little grounds for extradition. Quote
Army Guy Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 How does anyone defend our education system when this is just another brick in the wall of crazy things they have done in our name........A convicted terrorist to boot....anyone can be a Canadian even terrorists....and it is not like he is hiding, he got a job at a canadian university teaching about himself...could not be easier to find even if you had a neon sign.... Moonlight Graham Posted January 3 Author Report Posted January 3 His department at the university have defended him and seem clearly in his corner. Even Amnesty International are vouching for him. If I get more time I may look further into this case. It seems interesting. Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.

Sometimes they will have evidence that they won't make public because it will compromise some other case or information. So then you have to believe the state, the deep state that is. And this has been going on for years, so let's note that Musk is stirring the pot.. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner

Well he has been convicted, in france which is a western country, with good solid justice system....So how tricky could it be, send him back, or continue to harbor a convicted terrorist...he is not going to be executed so why would Canada not be handing him over... 1 Quote We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful.
