• "Based on the evidence obtained by this Subcommittee, numerous federal laws were likely broken by Liz Cheney, the former Vice Chair of the January 6 Select Committee, and these violations should be investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation," said an interim report released by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., who chairs the House Administration's oversight subcommittee, which investigated the Jan. 6 select committee.

• The report alleged Republicans found evidence showing Cheney "tampered with at least one witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, by secretly communicating with Hutchinson without her attorney's knowledge."

  "This secret communication with a witness is improper," the report said.

  In addition, the report said the FBI should investigate Cheney for allegedly violating a law that prohibits any person from procuring another person to commit perjury, which Republicans have accused Hutchinson of doing in her testimony to the committee.

  The report accused Cheney of helping Hutchinson attain new counsel; while the report alleges they spoke directly to each other without a lawyer's knowledge, it indicated Republicans don't seem to know what they discussed.

• Earlier this year, House Republicans released a report alleging the select committee "deleted" records and hired "Hollywood producers" to promote a political narrative while investigating Jan. 6. 
• "THE SELECT COMMITTEE DELETED RECORDS AND HID EVIDENCE - Reps. Thompson and Cheney failed to turn over video recordings of witness interviews and depositions despite using these recordings in their high-profile, primetime hearings. The Subcommittee recovered over one hundred deleted or password-protected files, including some files that were deleted days before Republicans took the majority. They also hid multiple transcribed interviews of witnesses who had firsthand knowledge of Trump‘s actions on January 6," the report found. 

I've seen leftists describe it as "they merely left all the data on their server improperly catalogued", but it looks like we're gonna find out soon, unless Biden pardons all of the J6 committee members in advance.

Bill Clinton pardoned a terrorist who was guilty of participating in planting a bomb that went off in congress, so pardoning Liz makes sense.

Biden is going to give them all the ultimate F you going out of office. Hell dangle the pardons in front of them but on his last day he will leave trump a fat folder with a note saying this is everything you need, they screwed me so Im going to screw them.

I wonder if any of the Democrats seriously worry about this happening, like is he really still our guy? Hes got one foot in the grave and plenty of cash and the gravitas of a former President and we did kind of screw him over. He may be a good boy so he can finish his term but as soon as he is leaving he may decide to burn it all down, figuratively

What criminal behavior? The witness they tampered with has been shown to be a liar when she made claims of Trumps actions that weren't even possible.

BTW yes witness tampering is illegal.
