Jagmeet Singh is the only one standing in the way of an election that Canada needs NOW!

Not only because of his pension - is he planning to extort more favours from Trudeau?

He's getting pinned down by questions, and yet he prefers to make himself look like a fool with his senseless answers!

voted ndp last time federally after voting liberal in 2011 2015 2019  but  yea he's pretty much the sole reason i won't be voting ndp atm and trending towards  staying home in 2025 election. the  guy is  just a fake and  needed the boot post 2021 election.  worse ndp federal leader in a long time by far

He'd concluded that Trudeau is ruining the country - and yet, he's still not calling an election!

How much more damage does Singh wants to happen to Canada  before he calls an election?

The threat of the 25% tariff is real.

Canadians will feel it - and add the CARBON TAX coming on April to that!

Canadians should give SINGH the message loud and clear!

I'm glad his poll is down to just 18% now.

Get him to be the lowest polling Party leader the NDP has ever had!

Let's not forget that many of Trudeau's reckless spendings were due to NDP Singh extortion method!

Is he planning to pile more spendings from Trudeau?

While I can understand Trudeau's cling to power - after all, the Liberal Party has no way of getting him out - and it's his prerogative as leader to stay on if he wants to.

Jagmeet Singh's pathetic nonsense support for Trudeau on the other hand, really baffles the mind!

It's up to Canadians to push Singh to call an election!

SHAME HIM!

I guess Singh, like Trudeau, is prepared to sit back and watch as Canada flounders. Trudeau may be hoping that Canadians will see him as the only one to stand up to big bad Trump while Singh is looking at the calendar with regards to his pension day.

Just in!

He'll bring in a non-confidence motion in the next sitting!!!

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh released a letter addressed to Canadians saying his party will vote to bring down the Liberal government.

Thank you to CTV and BT interviewers who relentlessly pinned him down and showed how ridiculous his position was!

Problem there is every time Jagmeet Sings everyone puts on their ear protectors. We're sick of hearing that song.

Problem is, unless he's got a guarantee from PP that they won't ditch the programs the NDP supported he actually will be the fool you fools all claim he is.
Tack on the fact that all they have to do is wait a couple months and vote against the Budget and there will be zero blame to carry and more favourable conditions both financially and for the electors.

But WTH you want an election Right F*cking Now no matter how inconvenient for everyone cuz PP will fix everything instantly, right?

I don't hate any of them, but that doesn't mean that his ignorance doesn't infuriate me, it doesn't mean that his actions do not disgust me, and it doesn't mean I like him either. Treason against the citizens of Canada means life in prison and he has been complicit with tyranny and yet the punishment for tyranny which was execution was never replaced when capital punishment was abolished so not the tyrants help those committing treason from going to prison so they can continue to support the government's tyranny against the citizens of Canada as they continue to conspire with the WEF against the citizens of Canada. Our system has been infiltrated and sabotaged. They all deserve to be punished to the maximum of Canadian law and their wealth given back to Canadians. Jagmeet can take dental and shove it up his back side and they can give us the hundreds of billions of dollars back, then we can make a genuine dental and medical system without stabbing Canadians in the back costing anywhere near hundreds of billions to do it. Jagmeet helped stab citizens in the back costing us hundreds of billions while he boasts some half asked dental for some as if Canadians should be grateful. That's like a slave owner giving a slave a glass of water for a lifetime of work and acting as if the slave should be grateful. It's appalling and insulting.

Don't sweat it Betsy, If you despise all those hated social benefits courtesy of some guy with a turban you undoubtedly live within a couple days walk of the border,
They'll let you in if you say you hate leftists and want to be Trump's Hock Tua girl. You'll just have to outdo Danielle Smith.

Not this winter probably. I would guess that justin will push that back to march and run on a budget.  Shouldn't be hard to do. He would just ahve to prorogue parliament by 1 month or so, it's not like you can call for a non confidence vote every day

I think there's a fair bit of truth in that joke's aside. I think he left it too late and I think he gathered too much and I think that realistically unless pierre manages to convince the gG to bring back parliament for this vote that he will still get his pension before he gets a chance to vote on it and everybody will still hold him to account for dragging it out till he gets his pension.

I suspect the NDP is going to get absolutely clobbered next election. The junior partner in these supply deals usually gets pounded next time the poles come around and considering these circumstances it could be pretty bad. We may very well see both of them in the liberals scrambling to keep 20 seats

Who calls first?

NDP support a Tory motion? Still not likely?
Tories support an NDP motion and give up the sheer glory of forcing the election?
JT prorogue Parliament or resign as a last gasp?

Who knows? January will be interesting.

Sorry, folks!

I got taken in!   Not as early as I thought - IF Singh does do what he says.

Oh lol - Singh is trying to pull a fast one!

Poilievre has just explained it in his latest press conference and few minutes ago.
It means, he'll topple down Trudeau around MARCH! image.gif.3942d931305fb736c2b90506252eed9b.gif image.gif.7538f3d844e2e2454a1f96d7955f2939.gif image.gif.a37781dc702e80d725818b438562f56c.gif

Lol - don't put it off if you can pull it now!

Yes - NOW!

If it's even possible - in January!

I don't know about interesting. It seems pretty clear what's going to happen.

The thing I'm worried about most, with the new government, is unity.  That's going to be critical when we start giving things up in the new trade discussions and we will be giving things up.

Yeah, that's what I was saying in my post above. Unless poilievre is successful in getting the GG to call back parliament to deal with this the NDP still won't be killing the govt till after jaggers gets his pension.

You are assuming both that we have to and that we should?
There is the USMCA in place and we our position should be if he doesn't want to follow it, he can rip it up himself and admit his own failure OR we can begin discussions now on a new treaty for when it expires. Tariffs outside the USMCA will face reaction when and if they are imposed.
Obviously we need to plan just in case, but publicly responding that we're not jumping to The Penguin's every incessant threat and taunt.

PP's certainly showing more spine than the Liberal ack! ack! What are we gonna do? panic approach while avoiding Ford's we'll do this back! response.

I should have included overall strategy, not just negotiations.

What would be funny if some other country left us no choice but to build those oil and gas lines to the East Coast to maintain a market within Canada and have an Atlantic port to export.

But that would be socialism!!! Auuuggghh!!!
