CTV alters video, creates false story about Polievre. Polievre threatens to blacklist reporter

Pierre Poilievre vows to blacklist CTV journalists (archive.ph)

The editing of the CTV news broadcast item created the erroneous impression that Poilievre wanted to introduce a motion declaring lost confidence in Justin Trudeau’s minority government because the Opposition leader wanted to scrap the Liberals’ dental coverage program.

So CTV out and out lied and created false video editing to give the false story that poilievre wanted to end Dental Care.

And once again the left brings the culture War to Canada. It's one thing to be biased one way or another, it's another to edit footage to deliberately give a false impression.

CTV is left.  And this is literally a true story about the left victimizing a politician by creating a fake story :)

But now instead of actually addressing the issue you want it to be "our" fault :) LOL  very left wing of you.  If you don't like the victim, blame the victim.

CTV is "the left." You guys are hilarious. In your own little world where you're always being victimized. 😂

The fact that you can't see that speaks volumes.

CTV has to toe the Liberal line with it's left foot for Trudeau's handouts.

And this is why it's not good to give out money to the press.

I'm pretty sure that if Poilievre handed the Toronto Sun a big fat wad of cash and they fake the story pretending that a liberal or NDP politician said something they never did that suddenly she would be singing a different tune :)

Someone should be fired.

This was not a mistake. It was deliberate splicing of several sentences and several clips to become something it wasn't.

No reputable journalist would do this.

For all practical purposes, Bell Media is the successor to Baton Broadcasting Incorporated (/ˈbtɒn/ BAY-ton), which by the late 1990s had become one of Canada's largest broadcasters.

Formed in 1960 as Baton Aldred Rogers Broadcasting Ltd., the company was originally created to establish Toronto's first private television station, CFTO-TV. The name of this company derived from its initial investors, including the Bassett and Eaton families (Baton), and Aldred-Rogers Broadcasting (owned by broadcaster Joel Aldred[3] and Ted Rogers); Foster Hewitt was also an initial investor, but in a much smaller role.[4] Aldred sold his shares in 1961, followed by Rogers by 1970, thereby relieving their names from the company title. With the Bassett and Eaton families firmly in control, the company went public in the early 1970s.

Pretty sure most people here have never heard of Bassetts or shopped at Eatons.  I was a door to door agent once as a student (decades ago) and I was forced, on my route, to call on the mansion of the Eatons... I was smart enough to go to the service door and talk to the maid, who shooed my skinny ass away forthwith.

Leftism sure does pay well...
