That site still has the Libs winning 64 seats... Is that really still achievable?

They just lost byelections in Mtl and Tor, and iirc the Toronto riding was Liberal going back decades. 

Obviously western Canada is out of reach for Lib MP hopefuls, but even the Maritimes heavily favour the CPC now. 

With the Quebec seats mainly going Bloc, plus a few conservative, how many seats can the Libs win there?

Ontario is really the only place where the Libs will be somewhat competitive, but they are down 20% in the polls there too. 

 

I personally think the Liberals would be doing well to beat Ignatief's total of 34 seats, won in 2011.

There is no way you can come away from that thinking anything other than this is the most corrupt government Canada has ever seen.

I like the Northern Perspective channel, because while they do have a Conservative slant, they call out BS on all sides.  They also use their channel to inform on how government works.

Their coverage of the SDTC scandal has been outstanding.

The whistleblower testimony is......seriously, this is THE scandal Canadians should be paying attention to.  Hundreds of millions handed over to Liberal insiders and he names names.  He has audio recordings and provided 300 pages of what he's seen, of which the Liberals redacted all but 7 pages.

This sounds exactly like what I accused Trudeau of....

If you recall, he was flying a Boeing 737 full of sycophant media members around the country with him because apparently local media outlets in our Canadian cities lacked the ability to capture his full magnificence, and when questioned about the amount of fossil fuels burned in that endeavour he said that "It's ok because we bought carbon offsets to cover the amount of fuel burned" 🤣

By "buying carbon offsets" I can only assume that they mean "giving money to their friends".

The fact is the Trudeau government is shafting Canadians with their war on climate change which includes diminishing and eventually phasing out the oil and gas industry.  This will cost the economy big time.  It will mean the loss of thousands of good-paying jobs.

A Saskatchewan study has found that the federal government's assault on the energy industry will really hurt Saskatchewan.  Many in Sask. are prepared to resist and oppose the feds in every way possible.
