If the Dems did what ABC news just did privately, it would be a dishonest ad.

When a supposed "News Network" like ABC produces, directs and disseminates something this fake it is fascist propaganda.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Bug-juice is the new Kool-aid.

Fake diners and pre-screened "questions" from fake reporters....

This is the new, cultist-approved, "reality", just like they do it in NoKo.

None of that would be necessary if they'd just let her use a teleprompter ALWAYS :)

This is comical. And watching all the Libbies scramble to deny or excuse this is even more comical.

Poor Kamala...she still has to buy friends.

The Dems live a life of pretend. Have you been watching this silly convention of theirs? Hell they even let Orca Winfrey out of Marine Land to tell everyone what "the best of America" is.

Libbies...ya know what "the best of America" is not? It is not having to feed your kids macaroni and cheese 5 times a week because that's all you can afford.

What event is this? If You're going to demand I offer an opinion on something you could at least do the courtesy of pointing out what the hell you're talking about

Were people kicked out of the McDonald's?

Trump’s staged McDonalds event where he shuts down the restaurant, pretends to make fries and serve fake customers at a drive thru.

Ok, got it :)

It's clearly a stunt but he doesn't seem to say at any point that it isn't a stunt. He's not pretending the people were shocked or surprised to see him or that they didn't expect him to come or something. It looks like he had a McDonald's basically do a limited opening i'll let him work one of the positions there. The people in the line were very obviously expecting to him to be the president and I don't see anybody pretending that they were just random customers who had no idea that they'd be served by the president that day and were so excited to see him.

I mean it's a silly stunt for sure. And other than the fact it's got the news talking about him instead of Kamala I see little point to it.

But it's not the same kind of fake that Kamala pulled. Kamala loaded a restaurant with actors and then walked in and pretended that she just showed up there out of the blue and that everyone was thrilled to see her and we're totally shocked and surprised.

That's just fraud.

Trump went and pretended to be a McDonald's employee for whatever reason and obviously the people who went through the drive-thru knew who he was before he got to the window and were supporters that were picked to be there and I don't see any evidence of him denying that.

Apple and oranges. But I do think it's kind of stupid to be perfectly honest

Did they kick all of the civilians out of the diner, and bring in paid actors to pose as "random, surprised citizens having authentic interactions with Donald Trump"?

Just to spare you some time because it's not immediately obvious in his post, no. They posted notices that the restaurant would be shut down that day, and they admittedly up front said they were going to pick the people who got to drive through from party members and supporters just so they get the experience. Trump was doing this not to pretend to be in a McDonald's employee but rather to show that he can do it and that he understands what that kind of a job is like.

Still silly if you ask me but nothing even remotely the same as hiring a bunch of actors to pretend to be surprised and excited when a candidate shows up supposedly unannounced

As long as they didn't do a video of him talking to pre-selected 'customers' and then try to pass it off as a bunch of random citizens who just happened to be there that day, and got a once-in-a-lifetime chance to interact with their idol.

Nope, it was quite obvious they weren't just regular people, they'd pull up and say 'hi mr president,, not " oh my gosh you're trump" or the like.  And it was announced before hand that these were picked people.

Not the same thing at all.

That's not what happened. The Harris event was a campaign volunteer appreciation event.

Quote

Ryan Deto, a reporter for the western Pennsylvania publication TribLIVE.com, who was at the restaurant that day, told us in an email, "The people inside the restaurant were campaign volunteers who were there to meet with Harris, Walz and their spouses."

So not paid actors or anything of the sort.
