Satan is a Socialist

The first clue that someone has not actually read Das Kapital (the magnum opus for socialism/communism) is that they focus on the authoritarian ways that governments have done in the name of soclalism. If you read Marx (which the OP has not).. you would know that Marx did not support this but thought that it would inevitably lead this. His writings are more prediction than telling society what to do. Where he was wrong was that he completely missed the technology bandwagon.

Okay. Can you explain the Communist manifesto then? Because it reads as a directive, the working classes to rise up right?

And in Das Kapital.. he explains why this is going to happen. He viewed his work as scientific and not political. The reason that the working class or proletariat would rise up is that their contributory portion to the output. labor, would continually increase in value in comparison to that of land or capital (simple machines). He completely missed the boat in that technology would not stay constant and therefore invalidate his labor theory of value.

Well... I don't feel qualified to discuss that but it seems to me that costs of labour do increase.

But anyway... I'm more talking about his urging the workers to rise up... You have nothing to lose but your chains... Than dialectical materialism etc

Some of this is that he had a benefactor, Friedrich Engels, who supported him financially and was trying to use his economic theory as the backbone for his political views. Marx was more of a philosopher than someone who cared deeply about politics.

In economics, you generally have 3 factors of production; land, labor, and capital. None are fixed in value. The relative contribution of each is always in flux if you view chronologically. Marx held that land and capital would stay constant and that labor would increase in value because as it was the most vital and important. If technology had stayed the same.. well then he is correct. However, technology took off and he vastly underestimated the amount of available land that was not yet being used in production.

Yes one third of the price of gas in B.C. are government taxes, including carbon tax.  We have the highest gas prices in north America.  Right now regular gas is over two dollars a litre.  Just another thing on top of outrageous prices for homes and groceries that is pushing many people into homelessness and despair.

I gassed up yesterday in Saskatoon. $1.54.9 before the CAA 3 cent / litre discount. Gas is 20 cents a litre cheaper than it was about a year ago.

The price on carbon in BC is a provincial tax. There is no federal carbon tax in BC. Still, it has had a positive effect in lowering carbon emissions.

Have you considered moving to Saskatchewan? Here is a link to a nice 3 bedroom one bathroom house in Brock, SK, near Kindersley. $99,900.

I would love to live in my Grandma's old house in the Molehill area of downtown Vancouver. I also wish that Dief would be the Chief again. If wishes were horses, beggers would ride.

Marx was wrong.

If tax are high it is because of right wing governments like Harper and Trudeau don't care to borrow billions from rich and we got to reimburse that. And second, Jesus changed the rules of the old testament because they were coming from the devil.

Justin Trudeau is not right wing, he and his government are far left.

A guy who borrows 40 billions from rich is not left wing, this is not socialism, socialism don't borrow money, they take money from richers to pay for services to the population.
