Russophiles, unless they are Russians themselves, is about the lowest form of human life. Our parliament in Finland passed the NATO-application by votes 184-7. I think that is fairly accurate proportion of people in our country how many people are Russophiles how many most definitely are not.

I would just add the tiny caveat that a foreigner can be a cultural Russophile, admiring Russia’s extraordinary achievements in music and literature, or a lover of the country’s vast steppes and forests. Any northern Canadian is a comrade of the boreal forest.

Imagine sending a real estate guy to negotiate a Ukraine deal with Putin. Witkoff is a brilliant businessman, whose paternal grandparents were born in the Russian Empire, but he fell at the first fence when talking to Tucker Carlson, being unable to name the four eastern Ukrainian regions under dispute. Needless to say, this did not go down well in Ukraine:

Quote

…after praising Putin, Witkoff moved on to reveal something even worse: His utter lack of knowledge about Ukraine and the war.

At the center of this conflict, Witkoff said, is the fate of “these so-called four regions.” He made an attempt to list them, only to fail embarrassingly.

“Donbas, Crimea…” he started.

“Luhansk,” Carlson helpfully added.

“Yes, Luhansk!” Witkoff said. “And two others.”

Neither of these two men who have strong opinions on Ukraine and Russia (and in the case of Witkoff — the power to dictate their futures) even know the names of the embattled regions of Ukraine that Russia has pronounced theirs.

Here’s a primer for Witkoff and Carlson. The four regions they were trying to recall are: Donetsk Oblast, Luhansk Oblast, Zaporizhizhia Oblast, and Kherson Oblast. “Oblast” is a region. Like a state, but with less autonomy.

It’s difficult for me to accept America’s betrayal of Ukraine, Europe and liberty. I feel I’m going to wake up any moment and escape from this nightmare.

Betrayal?

The funds are still flowing and Trump is working towards peace.

Where are you from and why is that country not doing more?

Hmmm...

Ukraine is not a democracy.

Europe is lead by twits who tried to squash fossil fuels and had to back track...AND flooded Europe with Muslims who hate Europeans.

Liberty? That's a pretty word and I'm sure it makes you feel good to use it but...what liberty?

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Wrong. Why on earth would you say that? Ukraine is a democracy at war in constant fear of conquest. Take a look at other democracies under those conditions.

Matters for another thread. Irrelevant here.

Ukrainians want to live free of Russian tyranny. It’s very simple, really.

Actually, Trump is working towards the betrayal of Ukraine, Europe and freedom.

This is a baseless assertion. I provided facts.

So... tell me again, what country is it you are a member of? Because Trump has been pushing for peace for a bit now and why hasn't your country done more? Why hasn't Ukraine won this war with the increased support of Europe and other western nations?

Oh... they are betraying Ukraine too?

You brought up some imagined betrayal of Europe...liberty too.

What Ukrainians want...is an end to this proxy madness. Its really that simple.

You don't like it? Go join Comic-Boy's army. I hear he's hiring.

KYIV (Reuters) -President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday Ukraine was ready for talks with Russia "in any format" once a ceasefire is set, while the Financial Times reported President Vladimir Putin had offered to halt Russia's invasion at the current front lines.

Both sides are trying to demonstrate progress towards ending Russia's war in Ukraine, now well into its fourth year, after U.S. President Donald Trump said he could walk away from efforts to make peace if there is no breakthrough.

"We are ready to record that after a ceasefire, we are ready to sit down in any format so that there are no dead ends," Zelenskiy told reporters in the presidential office in Kyiv.

How effin' hard is it to stop a war?

Does anyone still even want this war?

Is anything even being achieved right now, or are they still just killing each other in the exact same places as last month?

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

1) Call it a day.

2) Why are they showing the "Critical Rare Minerals in Ukraine" on the map of the battle lines now? Is that something that Hegseth accidentally posted in the chat on a non-secure App?

Sooo...Comic-Boy is now ready to talk, eh?

Too funny. All the bluster and blood...spilled only to have the Russians keep what they have taken...and for the USA to own what's left of their asses.

Well done Comic-Boy. You've managed to destroy your country. Meh...at least Boris Johnson loves you.

By repeating Russian propaganda, like Ukraine started the war....

Let me guess though, it's not a big deal because he didn't say anything like that in the last two days? 🙄

So if they're eastern provinces of Ukraine, they were attacking themselves?

Yeah, the Russian army has really overperformed, hasn't it!?  🤡

1. Yes there were. Those people were content as Ukrainians. All they wanted was to retain their Russian heritage.

2. They have shown surprising restraint.

Ah, so when Vladimir Putin sent his little green men over the border, and eventually invaded altogether, it was all to protect those with Russian heritage?  Speaking of Nazis:

So… mean words is your big “betrayal?”

Here we are a month later now and why hasn’t Canada done more to win this war for Ukraine?

Betrayal!

I would call it rather explicit and outright lies promoting the narrative and propaganda of Vladimir Putin - because that's what Trump has been doing!

I'll tell you what - we've contributed a higher % of our GDP than the USA, AND we haven't had a buffoonish lying asshat leader who promotes Russian propaganda.  🤡
