Nobody needs to wait for anything here. Part of the herd decided to lose their sanity, give it up. Happened and happens so many times in history. Tired and bored st-pidity of a herd that decided to go mad. OK, that's their choice one cannot change it. One can tell it once, calmly and reasonably. One can try it again, just in case. And that's it. Nothing more can be done here. No such doctors exist that can cure that. Lose, give away yours; or step aside, and let it pass to its destination, the only possible options.

For every thinking individual who believes that they have reason and integrity. No avoiding it; does not exist.

This is getting boring and on top of that not factual, counter to it. Yes, there's a precedent of someone who thought that a rise of an aggressive brutal thug can be avoided just by not noticing it. That answer is known, set in the books, in the history. There's no point in repeating a dumb experiment and hoping for a different outcome.

With two exceptions maybe: one is dumb (OK then; no limits); or they are lying. Sure, that would be it.

One of the main problems the GOP candidates ran into is their demeanour. 

They all seem high-strung, angry and stressed when they're talking - they don't sound presidential at all. 

DeSantis is one of the most accomplished American politicians not to make president in the last 50 years, but he just never seems centred, or calm. He gets defensive, and sounds like a ranting fishwife.

The Dems never get defensive, but that's probably because they aren't really defending any actual positions - they're just lying.

To be honest, i think Haley may have a real shot next time. If trump wins then by the end of his term there may be an appetite for a slightly different tone and path and she very well might fit that bill.  IF trump loses then for sure the republicans will be looking to tune the radio a little different.

Problem is you can say the same for the dems.

It's going to be a case of picking the least worst option and given the history a lot of americans are going to decide trump is the lesser of the two evils.

People didn't challenge Trump, as they knew the consequences would be devastating.

When you have a political party literally built to extort the US by creating drama when they need money getting a firm taste if their own medicine, it's jarring.

They know with Trump they launch a single missle, there would be a return volley of 40 coming back their way.

He has a laundry list of personality issues and faults, but one thing he did very well, is deter war.
