Transgender female swimmer, 50, uses change room with young girls at Barrie event

Girls from age eight to 16 in a Swimming Canada-sanctioned swim meet in Barrie last week not only found themselves in the same pool as a transgender female swimmer but in the same changeroom, too. 

“The girls were terrified,” said one parent of a child involved.

And mortified.

From the changing area, where parents put up makeshift towel-tenting apparatus so no one could see their daughters and they could not see the person with male anatomy changing with them, they got into the pool to race against this 50-year-old who was competing in several categories.

“We have no idea why it is allowed,” said a parent. “We know it’s not fair to the girls who are training at their sport and some of whom are hoping for scholarships.” 

I really feel like this is just building up to a massive backlash that's not going to be a good thing for anyone.

But seriously - a 50 year old male swinging his stuff for teen girls and then competing against them....   i just don't see that ever being considered 'normal' .

This is happening because of a failure of the electorate to assert women’s, children’s, and religious rights. Unfortunately the courts are dominated by so-called progressives.  Radical left activism, cancel culture, and the equity industry are destroying Canada. So much has already been said on this topic, yet the stupidity persists.

Anywhere else in the world, this would be utterly unnacceptable. 

In Thailand, which is highly accepting of the trans community, there is no mistaking things. 

You are not a woman, but you will be respected and allowed to be you. In fact they have among some of the world's best surgeons for gender reassignment surgery. 

A trans person is who they feel they are, and that is to be respected.

But I think any sane society would draw a line as to how much one needs to play along.

You having male parts and the appearance to boot, will have most see you as male.

I also think there is no court case regarding born male taking tit making drugs participating in female sports is going on.

Interesting there are no female born converted to men participating in competitive sports?

I am vehemently opposed to allowing transgender persons participating in sports in anything other than what they were born as.

The electorate are busy, exhausted, and somewhat resigned to doing as their told, especially after a few years of attending anti-human racism equity sessions that tell them they’re privileged colonialists and that Canada should be cancelled.  When someone has the balls and money to push back and go to court, the activist Liberal-appointed judges tell them that indeed they are patriarchal, colonial transphobic scum who deserve cancellation.  Everyone with a brain who is employed in an organization/business large enough to have an HR department knows this game.  Trans is just another designated victim group running roughshod over kids, women, and anyone who likes traditional family.  Our kids are explicitly taught that this self-denialism and anti-science, ahistorical worldview is correct and must be followed or else.

The electorate has nothing to do with this

The affected sports organizations are the ones that need to fix this. Better yet, seems it is female athletes that are most affected, they should boycott participating any time a he/she tries to compete.

Makes me wonder how they'd feel if it was a requirement. As in - if you claim to be a trans male you MUST participate in the male category. I doubt you'd see them excited about being forced to compete with males.

There are generally three types of people in Canada participating in the electorate: dumb unsophisticated left wing activists (the people in charge of Canada and your HR department), the Pollyanna “What, me worry?” apologists (most Canadians and the mushy middle go along to get along MSM consumers, etc.), and everyone else who ranges from important and brave critical thinkers to more radical elements on the right (who have much in common with the radical left activists).

Generally the critical thinkers are ignored or suppressed because they’re a threat to the lunatic activists.  That’s why the 50 year old man is exposing himself to young girls and winning women’s athletic competitions.  Duh!

I suspect that the electorate, for the most part, doesn't give a crap. A leader can play for the ones that do as long as they are strategic in their messaging.

 

The woke stuff seems to be dying, as evidence by the lack of use of the word by public leaders of late.

 

I would like to see a solution to these matters that is broadly accepted though because he takes up so much bandwidth.

They bounce because governments eventually act like they have a mandate to do things they were never elected to do. 

When governments bend over backwards to be inclusive and have it do the opposite, people push back. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a real centrist party any longer, the Liberals and the old PC's were both closer to the centre than the present Liberals and CPC.
