Nope - that would be a false equivalency.  If you take any group of people and divide them you will have a slight variation in intelligence.  If you then polled the groups and found that purple is preferred to blue in one group and blue to purple in the other, and then looked at the two groups and said "a is smarter than b on average" - using your logic we could there fore say smart people prefer purple. But in reality - there is NO evidence that's the case or that there's any connection - 10 other groups randomly separated could all have different results.

It represents the average of a group as a whole, not the group.  You cannot say that the average can be applied to the individual components of the group, which whether you meant to or not is precisely what you just said. The whole group may average to be xxx - but that does not mean the whole group is xxx.

Further - if  we use your version of "average" - then one person who was REALLY low would skew the average downward, but the majority of the people would be above that average.  FOr example if 9 people score 100 and 1 scores only 1 - then the average as  you count it is 90.1 - but 90 percent of the people are above that.

This is precisely why Trump was voted in. People were sick of having to accept this.

The only thing separating them from Trump,  is the constant legal hot water that he finds himself in, and the Jan 6 insurrection he caused when refusing to follow standard decorum after losing an election.

With that said, some of that hot water is arguably politically motivated, solidifying his base which is why his numbers are still strong.

I just don't understand how people can't see the irony about boasting about the top universities being in blue states.

Its using the same book Trump did, to solidify his base.

I could easily do the same, and point to homelessness, and many other issues.

I don't even need to say it and it's already understood that states like NY and California alone, literally account for a significant portion of the country's homeless.

Lazy would be to pointing to blue states being bad. Divisive, does nothing. Ignores the many metrics that cause this problem.

An actual leader would look at all states experiencing sharp increases in homelessness and see it for what it is. An American problem.

It takes a low IQ to see the country divided in two colors, vs pride themselves on the three colors that represent it.

Last summer my boys had a couple pool parties here in my yard. At one point, my daughter's fiance and I sat on the deck while this one young lady stripped down to her "micro bikini". The lad and I both decided it was time to get a beer. A small distraction from the boner this young lady and her "micro bikini" was promoting.

I believe "Twin B" jumped her bones that evening. I'd bet her "micro bikini" had something to do with that.
