The Donbas region is 60% Ukrainian.  Again, it was the Russians who were the aggressors.  This is similar to the German aggression of the  Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia in 1938. This whole conflict started when Russia annexed the Crimea, and tried to annex the eastern Ukraine.

They were being treated as second class citizen;s, and were treated like shit by Zelensky, and so they asked Putin for help, and he gave then his assistance. Zelensky would not be in this mess that he created if he had treated his fellow Ukrainian Russian citizen's fairly. Believe it or not.

Side note- the cnn article is wrong.  I read the ruling and some legal discussion about it and the judge was quite clear that they are NOT ruling out that as a valid defense.  They are NOT ruling that it's not public business per se.  What they're ruling is that this is not obvious and can't be used  as grounds to set aside a trial, even though it MIGHT  be a successful defense in a trial.

It's just interesting to me to watch cnn lie like that again.  If you read their headline and such it sounds that the judge ruled that this defense was invalid completely - whereas he only ruled it wasn't grounds not to let it go to trial.

Now Hunter has been charged, a judge will decide whether he goes to jail if convicted.

I'm  not sure he's going to be sentenced before the next election.  I think he can delay those trials well past that date. And if he wins that goes away.

Well it's the public that votes, and he's polling strong enough to have a good chance at winning, so i'm not sure what you think is going to happen.  As far as the nomination goes he's polling vastly out in front of anyone else by far.
