You're cherry picking. High volumes of mass shootings is something new in the US. It wasn't an epidemic in the past. Why is that? Guns were there back then. 1 hour ago, Aristides said: Wills and life insurance are not causes of deaths, neither are any of the other examples you list. Cars cause deaths. Quite a few of them. Crosswalks. If there are a lot of deaths, you can blame cars and crosswalks, or if your technology is advanced for both, yet your death tolls are staggering, juuuuust maybe, the country should look in the mirror. Maybe it's not the cars. All am saying. Quote

Who needs a licence, anyone who has never driven in one should be able to jump into a car with 500 HP and go out and play in the traffic. Edited October 30, 2023 by Aristides 1 Quote

Lots of people can't drive with a license. Accidents are through the roof. Just like a significant amount of mass shooters happened to be licensed and lawful gun owners. Your points fall flat, as they are statistically debunked. Quote

You people REALLY don't know anything. During the American Revolution, there was Washington's continental Army. They were no match for the larger staffed British redcoats. It took the efforts of a bunch of "Militias" a group of barely regulated private citizens (who by the way invented and perfected the art of guerilla warfare) to win that war. The Second Amendment addressed the necessity of the need for a RIGHT to bear arms. You can always move to a socialist country where guns are outlawed, if you don't like it here. Yes, nut jobs get their hands on deadly weapons all the time. And goose stepping Democrats have no problem with this as long as the nut jobs are BLM or ANTIFA, or PALESTINIAN animals who kill Jews. 2 hours ago, Aristides said: You need a gun.
