For the goose stepping elitists who thumb their noses at small towns.

For some reason, we've seen some of the worst misery, poverty and  violent crime take place in large cities, where not ironically, liberals have been in charge. And they have the fcking gall to look down on small towns.

I'd love to see some of these animals try that shitt in  Winter Haven, Florida, (a town that is heavily armed, with a Sheriff who will shoot you if you shoot at him.)

It is only a song.. Relax and take a deep breath. Small towns have their pluses and minuses. Spent summers in a very remote place with a small town of about 2,800 being the closest vestige of civilization. People were not perfect..  nope. Lots of drunken stupidity, beating their wives, spending money on dumb stuff, doing drugs (more than I wanted to admit), and gasp.... shoplifting.

What gives you the impression that I'm anything other than relaxed. Already the retarddds have bashed this song and accused it of fomenting lynch mobs.

But we'll wait patiently while you reveal a small town that has THIS.

And when the economics don't work out, then Trump comes in and puts everyone's fears at bay, just vote for Donnie from New York.  ?

I have seen trending articles from leftist publications about this song, so basically, it shows the difference between rural and city mentality? I did not even press play as I am into other preferences of music.

Everything is economics in the end, this is why some folks voted in the rural areas with Obama against Romney, the rural areas in general are about economics.

Actually, because Romney and Obama were basically on the SAME PAGE,  ideologically, those people were voting for color.

  • Sure, but how about similarities?
  • AI technology in the big cities is programmed by engineers to be deployed and help farmers all over North America.
  • Productivity and Effectiveness are being met by folks in both rural and city life that want to move society forward.
  • Some are just left to rant.

You should listen to the song. It has a lot of images of Democrat voters committing vile acts of violence. IA was not mentioned. (but thanks for showing us your CONTEMPT for rural areas and farmers, like somehow you living in a urban cesspool is superior.)

As far as moving society forward, I don't believe these DEMOCRAT VOTERS are doing that.

Basically, the song stresses that it is not a good idea to try that shit in small towns.

I'd  probably qualify that statement by adding "Florida small towns," since blue state small towns weren't enough votes to keep the goose steppers out of office.

I see, so you are saying if someone tries anything like that in a small town, he will be shot by the American cowboy.

Nothing in the song comes anywhere NEAR that lie. Of course,  in blue cities, people are shot by cocaine cowboys all the time. When you make such assumptions without even hearing the song, you look even more ignorant and intolerant than usual.

I'll save you the misery of the electric guitars and the honkytonk country harmony. Here are the  lyrics.

I'll accept your apology a little later.

why do small towns not have riots? Because a riot of 22 people will have zero impact on anybody or anything. Also, in a small town.. folks know each other and so if John Doe goes out marching.. everybody in small town X knows that he did.. unlike the big city where 99.99999% of the city has no knowledge of you

I haven't listened to the song, and I don't listen to Hip-Hop, but given the reputation the latter has, (expressed in a timely Doonesbury cartoon in today's Washington Post) how come there's such a furor over this song?

Actually, small towns don't have those horrific incidents of mass looting, probably because the kids in those towns are raised by decent, law abiding families and not by lazy stupid welfare queens downloading child after child, getting a check and losing the father. Small towns (except for, probably, suburbs to Chicago, especially those poor folks who now have to deal with Chicago's recent overturning of cash bail laws.)

The lyrics suggest

Well, try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
'Round here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town

I laugh at your thinking that folks are morally superior solely based on living in a town of less than 2,000. In your utopia, they are good people while they live in Challis, Idaho (small town) and then they turn to sh_T once they move to Chicago. And then when they go back home.. they go back to being morally superior.... its quite comical.

Probably because it’s vapid nonsense and people are tired of the MAGA nonsense spreading through American culture?

I mean….  if one wants to tell the story of small town America, the methamphetamine craze and the racist tendencies of small town America should figure prominently in the songs.   And maybe something like “try being openly gay in a small town…. They’ll beat you, tie you to a fence post and leave you to die” would be an appropriate lyric.

Sure, but shouldn't the same thing apply to Hip-Hop?

I remember a few years back when some group, I think it was the Dixie Chicks, caused a similar upset with a song about killing an abusive spouse.

The outrage seemed pretty selective at the time, as it does with the current situation.

Did you not live through the 80s/90s?

American politicians had hearings and wanted to ban the raps!

I was alive.  Not paying attention I guess.  No internet for the most part and not nearly as much interest in what was going on "down there".

Excuse me, but YOUR MARXIST LENINIST HITLERIST side of the aisle was the first to start belittling small town folk as being inferior to city dwellers. The elitism is on you.

It would seem that cities attract the scumbags, the welfare cheats, the lazy homeless, as well as the executives who build all the big buildings and leverage the city to pay their tax bills.

And again, the lyrics of the song don't come anywhere NEAR your fictional accounts.

You point the finger of vapid nonsense while citing a MARXIST LENINIST HITLERIST left wing opinion rag? Seriously?

Maybe YOUR small town (in that ignorant BLUE STATE that shat you) is a meth crazed hell hole).

Meth and Crack are YOUR SIDE OF THE AISLE,  fraulein.

The song does tacitly promote violence.

It's a pretty dumb sentiment overall.

Basically it says small town people are better than city people and bad things don't happen in small towns (such as people abusing cops).  Of course it could be construed that when bad things happen to cops in the city, it's country people doing it like on January 6th...  Also gun crimes don't happen in small towns etc. etc.

Stupidity straight through.  No wonder people can't imagine a better society - fools like this one saying they'll beat you if you burn the flag...

Quote
Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up
Yeah, ya think you're tough
Well, try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Got a gun that my granddad gave me
They say one day they're gonna round up
Well, that shit might fly in the city, good luck
Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Full of good ol' boys, raised up right
If you're looking for a fight
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town
Ooh-ooh
Try that in a small town

There are no stats in that link.

Cities may have high total crim rates but the high population contributes to the inflated number.

The stat I cited was per capita.

You source is just an opinion piece, it is not a source. It quotes no sources of its own other than what comes out of its authors ass. It's just another MAGA rant. Actual crime data collected by the FBI and other agencies is not opinion.

It's is no longer surprising that you are incapable of knowing the difference.

You have yet to provide ANY reliable factual sources. Just FAGGA ones.
