Then why the hell did you ask how many shares of apple i bought in 2021?

Look - we already know you're an !diot. You don't have to convince us like that.

Yeah, actually i did own some around then.  I had a few tech stocks, some did better some died.  I sold it off later and did well with it.  It's had it's periods of growth and periods where it didn't grow.  The tech meltdown of the late 90's put every tech company on the hotplate, and some survived and did well and some did not.

But it wasn't al gore who fixed it :)

Iv'e served on boards before :)   The main reason he would be there from the company's point of view is for his rolodex.  He can be dumb as a stump but he knows people having served in politics.

As to what he did there...  lol, you have really bad timing :

Turns out he was boosting his own business, not apple :)

What boards have you served on?

The stupid pathetic right-wing hack outfit isn’t going to get Gore and Cook booted from Apple’s board of directors.  Nor should they be; they’ve lead the company into being the world’s largest.

Holy shit dude - you're like a half second away from blowing a blood vessel.

And gore didn't lead anyone anywhere - as the story notes he leeched. :)  And at the end of the day that's what all lefties are - leeches on those who ACTUALLY do the work.

Al Gore? Lead something that was successful? And here I thought he was too busy either burring his nose up Barry's @sshole, or lying to the world about climate.

Oh wait a minute...Al Gore didn't "lead" anything. In fact...looks to me like they'd sort o' wish he'd just go away.

Meh...the "successful" Libbie.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

OMG, you actually buy this ruse?

A right-wing political group probably bought one share of Apple stock and filed a stockholder vote to remove Gore and Cook from Apple's BoD. Of course it will fail.

So there's a core group of Republicans at Apple Computer who are behind the success of the world's largest company? Care to tell us who?

Maybe they bought two shares?

What we do know is that this is not a legitimate shareholder action, it is a known political operative group. And the mainstream investors don't give a crap about what this political hack outfit has to say.

Ok - so your claim is that this is a right wing group that bought ONE SHARE.  Is that your current claim?

He is a member of the board of directors. You don't even have to be a shareholder to be a board member and Gore doesn't hold an executive position in the company. My Apple shares are up 900% since I bought them, does that make it my company?

Exactly. The Forum ****** somehow thinks Apple is Algore's company. Never mind the geniuses who CREATED that miracle. Somehow ALGORE gets the credit.

Board Members are responsible for reviewing all of a company’s long term business decisions and strategies, they review and approve all of the financials, and they hire and fire the executives, and set their salaries.  Apple’s board members include some of the most accomplished people in the world.  Since the Board members are typically compensated only in stock, they are all stockholders.

Vanguard Group is Apple's largest shareholder with 1.3 billion shares or 7.83% of total shares. The largest individual shareholder is Arthur Levinson with 4.6 million shares. So not Al Gore's company.

I think we’re just talking past one another at this point. Obviously, Al Gore is not singularly responsible for the success of Apple, but he has been on the BoD since long before iPod, iPad and iPhone.

Turns out one shareholder group FAILED to remove Gore because of his beliefs about climate. Duh

Apple's board still boasts CEO Tim Cook, former Vice President Al Gore, and Boeing's ex-CFO James Bell.
