This is why it's so crucial for us to think for ourselves - even our favorite talking heads can disappoint at times, so we have to be on guard at all times.

Democrats hate questions; they hate thinking for themselves; they just want their marching orders, and that's it. Antifa is a perfect example of this mindless obedience.

"Think for yourself" never carries more weight than listening to EXPERTS. ^Here you are listening to a NON-EXPERT and believing he is more qualified than people who are PROFESSIONALS with tons of EXPERIENCE.

Actually Good ole Albert Einstein noted that hunches and guess work were an important part of the process. That leads to hypothesis and testing, or in his case hypothesis and math proofs.  He further noted that often the appearance of a solution being 'elegant' or having a certain beauty to it often lead him in the correct direction tho it would be some time before he arrived at a proof.

So - the beginning stages of science is indeed guesswork. Go tell that kid you owe him an apology :)

"JUST guessing" is completely wrong. Anyone can have a "hunch." The real work of science IS SO MUCH MORE.

Starting with DEEP knowledge of basic principles which form the basis for hunches that PAY OFF.

That's EXACTLY what Trump did when he fooled you into believing he banned flights from China.

IN FACT, he let over 40,000 citizens fly back from China with NO testing, tracking NOR quarantining.

He was RESPONSIBLE for that FIRST super-spreader event. All because of his IGNORANCE and ARROGANCE. Like yours.

There's a lot of words in english that reflect this simple fact.  For example - "Intuition", which means The faculty of knowing or understanding something without reasoning or proof according to the american heritage dictionary.

This skill has kept our ancestors alive since the very first human was born and subsequently amassed student debt.

instinct, intuition, foresight, or just a good ole educated guess :)  they're all evidence of the long standing human trait of being able to subconciously amass information and arrive at  pretty accurate conclusion. Certainly enough to move forward.

Yes I do. I have a perfect idea. You feel LIBERATED. You feel liberated because women are exercising their reproductive rights in blue states. You feel liberated because you live this feeling vicariously through the women who decide to slaughter their unborn. Not only do you feel liberated, but you may even feel RAPTURE.

Why not? May i remind you that the german scientists behind the eugenics programs were experts?  Are y ou saying we were wrong not to listen to them?

For that matter for a very long time the very best experts thought most medical issues could be solved with leeches and bleeding patients, and thought the body had four 'humors' that ran it.

'Expert' doesn't' mean that they're magical superhuman. Do you think "expert" means that someone is a magical being or doesn't make mistakes?

21 percent of people have experienced serious medical errors in the states.

there's over 4000 medical surgical errors in the us every year.

33 percent of the medical malpractice lawsuits in the US are due to "The Experts" misdiagnosing an illness.

So lets not pretend they're infallable.

1) Do either of you guys believe that Fauci didn't fund GOF research on the coronavirus to make it more transmissible?

2) Do you doubt that he kept that info hidden?

3) Do you doubt that he should have disclosed it?

4) Do you doubt that it was really odd that social media banned people for discussing the BSL4 lab? Especially now that we know that that specific coronavirus was modified there to become transmissible among humans, and that there's a US intelligence report out which says that 3 Wuhan Lab personnel were infected with a covid-like infection in Nov 2019?

5) Do you doubt that there was far more media coverage of covid deaths in 2020 than in 2022?

6) Do you doubt that there were far more covid deaths in 2022 than in 2020?

7) Do you doubt that more vaxed people died in 2022 than unvaxed people in either of the previous years?

Instead of clicking "I hate yow poset ? " why don't you try to challenge some facts?

Your Gish Gallops don't simply don't merit retort. They are consistently long lists of misleading facts, half-truths and outright lies. Even here you have 7 damn points, none of which you will every admit is false or does not support your thesis.

For example, no, Fauci didn't fund GoF research. The NIH funded a grant for Ecohealth (not for GoF research) which contracts with many labs, including the lab in Wuhan, where one experiment produced an "unexpected result" that was problematic and the experiment was never repeated.

Obviously, it's wildly, wildly dishonest to claim that Fauci funded GoF research, as if he wrote a check to make coronaviruses more transmissible. But you will never admit that. Hell, you're the kind of guy who can't admit when it's raining if that fact is politically inconvenient. So why would any sane person indulge you once, let alone 7 times per post?

Nah, smarter by far to simply mark it as a shitty post and move on to other things.

Grow up, that's total BS.

Everything there is 100% true and you need to specifically mention things that you take umbrage to, not just say "I hate the list". This isn't a leftard echo chamber.

Quote

For example, no, Fauci didn't fund GoF research. The NIH funded a grant for Ecohealth (not for GoF research) which contracts with many labs, including the lab in Wuhan, where one experiment produced an "unexpected result" that was problematic and the experiment was never repeated.

Yes, Fauci did sign off on that research on that virus. It doesn't matter how many labs he signs contracts with, he signed off on that contract with the Wuhan lab and so he is responsible for it. Why do you think it's important to mount a false defence for him? If Trump signed that contract you'd care a lot, you'd never say "Trump signs a lotta stuff hawhaw."

The only place where Fauci actually differs from his arch enemy, Rand Paul, who brought that info to light, is that Rand Paul says that "specifically making the virus more transmissible among humans" qualifies as "GoF research" and Fauci says that it does not. Then Rand fires back and says "that's just because you changed the definition yourself so that transmissibility isn't GoF", to which Fauci has no worthwhile reply.

There was no unexpected result, aside from maybe a lab leak. They specifically made that virus more transmissible so that they could study it in the cells of other mammals.

Quote

Obviously, it's wildly, wildly dishonest to claim that Fauci funded GoF research, as if he wrote a check to make coronaviruses more transmissible. But you will never admit that. Hell, you're the kind of guy who can't admit when it's raining if that fact is politically inconvenient. So why would any sane person indulge you once, let alone 7 times per post?

That's not wildly dishonest at all. The work that Fauci funded in China was specifically illegal within the US. Do you think that he rubber-stamped that illegal research without having a clue that he was doing it? If so, why didn't he say that he wasn't aware of it instead of just saying "the research wasn't illegal because it wasn't considered "GoF""? I'm pretty sure that he's liable for that because he signed off on it, unwittingly or not.

And why the banning of people who mentioned the BSL4 lab on social media? Isn't that kinda weird?

There are over 2,000 wetmarkets in China, over 400 of which deal in exotic species, and there's only one BSL4 lab in that country. The outbreak occurred in the exact same sq km of the earth's 510,000,000 sq kms that the Wuhan lab is in. You know, the lab where they made that virus transmissible to humans. "Hmmmm, where did this virus that's so transmissible among humans come from? Perhaps a bat gave it to a pangolin which gave it to a human but it likely isn't transmissible between humans because coronaviruses don't generally roll like that...." ?

Is that what passes for science nowadays? Just seize on the least likely scenario and then err on the side of pandemic?

Quote

Nah, smarter by far to simply mark it as a shitty post and move on to other things.

Awww, boo-hoo.

You don't like it because it exposes your own completely disproven beliefs which were astoundingly "counterintuitive" (to say the very least) to begin with, but that doesn't make it shitty.

Were people banned from social media for posting concerns about the BSL4 lab or not? Are you ok with that? Doesn't it look just a bit suspect?

Isn't it weird that the MSM kept on harping about covid like it could kill anyone, when that clearly wasn't the case, and then they started acting like "covid only kills multi-vaxed people who are extremely old with co-morbidities" as if that was something unique among the multi-vaxed? FYI that was the case among the unvaxed in 2020 as well. We knew that by May of that year. Why could that the link between deaths and age/co-morbidities only be acknowledged when they talk about multi-vaxed deaths? They even pretend that kids need the vax and they absolutely effing do not.

How did "everyone in the world who's real sciency like" instantly know that HCQ and ivermectin wouldn't work before there were clinical trials, and all of those same people somehow firmly believe that the vax works despite the millions of multi-vaxed people who died? How did the world's biggest skeptics instantly become the world's most credulous believers after the vax rollout? Isn't that a bit weird to you?

Does all of the Faucian/vaxes-uber-alles stuff still make sense to you with the benefit of hindsight?

In free countries we forced people who didn't need the vax to take it long after we KNEW that it didn't prevent the spread. How does that make sense to you?

Just say something. Have an actual human opinion based on the relevant facts that we know today.

Am I just a complete genius who can foresee the future or was I just paying attention to the real-world data and saying things that made sense? Because here we are in a world where more people are dying of covid than ever before but the MSM is completely happy with that...

Trump never lied bout randropgate you loser, just get over it. He said that he was worried that it was going to pour during his speech but he stood there for 17 minutes and emerged with hair that was bone dry. It wasn't a lie for him to say "it didn't rain." Fauci being the head of the NIH does NOT equate to "he funded" everything the NIH paid for.

1) He was responsible for it, if he didn't know what he was signing off on that doesn't absolve him of guilt.

More importantly 2) it's just his apologists who say "He didn't know what he signed up for." Fauci never pretended that being unaware was his only defence, he just said that "GoF doesn't include increasing transmissibility."

You be the judge - does making a previously non-human virus highly transmissible among humans seem kinda like a "Gain of Function"? Did the virus gain the ability to do something of the utmost significance? Hmmm....

Quote

IN FACT, the NIH funded a New York City research group who did SOME work in Wuhan.

Thing is, you are NOT an expert in genealogical research, so YOUR CONCLUSIONS are highly suspect.

IN FACT, no one cares about irrelevant research.

We care about the fact that Fauci funded research that made the covid virus highly transmissible among humans, then he told us that the virus came from something else that was far less likely to be the source.

It's like if you were smoking when the gas pump caught on fire but you hid the cigarette and said "A passerby was talking on a cellphone and its radio waves were magnified by going through a toaster in a nearby shop, focusing them right on the hand that my cigarette would have been in, had I been smoking."

Genealogical research? You may as well have said gynaecological ffs. Such a 4kin dumbass.

4. Do they view themselves as the one and only expert on a topic. It is simply fascinating how for years on end... they never say a thing about topic x but as soon as it comes across their news feed.. they are a world respected expert with a Phd in this topic. I had someone appealing a claim who claimed to be an expert in unemployment insurance law and that he was world renowned. Did a google search for his name... nothing.
