Dad fatally shoots intruder accosting young daughter in backyard on Father's Day:

A North Carolina dad shot and killed an intruder who reportedly threatened his young daughter at their home on Father's Day, according to local authorities.

Members of the Wilson's Mills police department and deputies with the Johnston County Sheriff's Office responded to the home at about 9 p.m. on Sunday over a report of a breaking and entering in progress with someone shot, according to The Johnston County Report.

Wilson’s Mills Police Chief A.Z. Williams said the suspect entered the home's backyard on Sunday evening as the owner's children were playing outside. The suspect reportedly accosted the dad's 11-year-old daughter, spurring her and two other children to run into the home and alert their parents.

The suspect tried to follow the kids into the house by aggressively pulling on the home's backdoor handle, according to The Johnston County Report. 

That's when the dad fatally shot the intruder.

The suspect has not yet been identified, with authorities only revealing he was 23-years old.

Williams said the case appears to be one of a father protecting his family. The family did not know the suspect, investigators said.

Points to ponder:

1. This animal would have raped and killed an ELEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL, had not her father stepped up.

2. Thanks to this father doing his CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED DUTY and taking out the trash, this animal will not be raping and killing any other helpless CHILDREN. The father deserves an award from CRIMESTOPPERS for taking this turd out of the gene pool.

3. If this were a goose stepping blue state with gun grabbing politicians, that little girl would have been raped and killed and probably so would everyone else in the house. But there are STILL goose stepping gun grabbers  here who would have NO PROBLEM with that.

Maybe you should wonder what would have happened to that 11 year old girl if her father had not put that animal down? Maybe you should care that she was saved from being raped and murdered. Don't you care about that?

If YOUR 11 year old daughter (hypothetically) had been in this situation, would you have let that animal just rape and murder her or would you have acted to save her?

Not necessarily true, but the father is allowed to act on the perceived threat level, and he'd be dumb to assume that waiting to see what happened was a reasonable choice.

Doesn't seem to be newsworthy.  30 people are shot dead every day in that country and they don't appear to want to do anything about their gun murders.

This was not a gun murder. This was a CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED self defense.

EVERY self defense shooting should be reported, if for nothing else but to send a message to every animal out there who would even THINK about raping and killing a child. They ALSO should be reported to put Nazi gun grabbers on notice, that passing more gun laws will make life easier for the animals who would take the life of an 11 year old.

Self defense ALSO prevents gun MURDERS. Take those animals out of the gene poll and they will murder fewer people with a gun.

What we can be sure if is the fact that animal will never hurt anyone else. We can ALSO be sure that any other animals who would be even THINKING of hurting this man's little girl will think twice. Her safety and ability to grow up more than justifies the cost of that gun and the ammo.
