The UN has just released a major policy proposal to legalize hard drugs, prostitution, pimping, and pedophilia. What good can come of a society of legal human trafficking, the proliferation of opioids, exploitation of children, and unsafe cities?  Why is this happening?

Anyway one looks at this development...its disgusting. NATO...the EU...the UN...all reduced to tools for the Globalists.

Many scoff at this but mark my words, nobody is gonna like how this all pans out.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Become?

I can only ascribe it to denial and cognitive dissonance.  It doesn’t agree with the cushy affirmations of moral superiority doled out by the CBC-CTV-CNN government echo chamber.  The policy paper is real and won’t get noticed by the mainstream until it’s normalized.  This has happened with “trans rights” and the legalization or quasi-legalization of hard drugs and theft in cities like Vancouver, San Francisco, and Chicago.

1.  there are some people at the UN who believe that everyone should move at the same speed as their own bubble.

2. But what is the alternative?

1. Bureaucrats are hiding behind their paper-based timeframes of the past.
2. Speed up.  Be accountable.  Serve.

Z, did you actually read the purpose of the proposal?

"The ‘8 March principles’ as they are called lay out a human rights-based approach to laws criminalising conduct in relation to sex, drug use, HIV, sexual and reproductive health, homelessness and poverty."

https://www.unaids.org/en/resources/presscentre/featurestories/2023/march/20230308_new-legal-principles-decriminalization

It makes no mention of pimping or pedophilia.

It's main aim is to combat the spread of HIV and to end the use of making having HIV a crime, making sex work a criminal offence, persecution of transgender people and making same sex relations illegal.

Your OP has no relation to what is actually proposed. Surely, you cannot be in favour of poverty, and/ or homelessness, or the spread of HIV.

So removing the ages of consent and legalizing making money off the avails of sex work won’t be pretexts for pedophilia and human trafficking?

Where does it advocate pimping and pedophilia? What it advocates is not making criminals out of sex workers. It does not legalize procuring or sex with minors. If I am incorrect, please show me.

Quoted from the document:

“Consensual sexual conduct, irrespective of the type of sexual activity, the sex/ gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression of the people involved or their marital status, may not be criminalized in any circumstances.”

“Surprisingly, the report appears to endorse not only prostitution but on-line pornography, pimping and brothel-keeping. ‘The exchange of sexual services between consenting adults for money, goods or services and communication with another about, advertising an offer for, or sharing premises with another for the purpose of exchanging sexual services between consenting adults for money, goods or services, whether in a public or private place, may not be criminalized, absent coercion, force, abuse of authority or fraud’.”
