TBH, it's just gonna be a fact that some of the things Alex Jones says are true.

Probably more of it is true on average than what you see on CBC and CNN. 

Basically everything that you ever saw on CBC about covid and the vaccines was BS. Everything that you saw about Russian collusion was BS. Everything that you saw about BLM and mostly peaceful protests on those stations was BS. 

That doesn't mean that nothing on CNN is ever true, or CBC, but discounting Epoch Times and Alex Jones out of hand is no better than doing the same to CBC and CNN.

And if we're being totally honest, you have a lengthy track record of lying here, and saying things that you had to know were disproven long before you said them.

The narrative that CNN was reporting that Trump colluded with Russia before the Mueller Report was released was a lie made up by Trump and then spread by Fox. CNN even downplayed the fact that when Trump's campaign was offered help from Russia, they accepted.

As for BLM, the vast majority of their marches were peaceful. It's just that right-wing media only focused on the fringe cases so they can make the movement look bad. And I say this as someone who doesn't like BLM. I think the movement has failed to denounce rioting as publicly and often as they should have. I also disagree that most of these cases of police violence were racially motivated. But the truth is, the movement was generally peaceful.

People were arrested and charged for "things", but nothing collusion-related ever got a guilty verdict. Manafort was guilty of some old tax evasion charges but nothing to do with collusion. The FBI tried to get him to give false testimony by offering a reduced sentence for his non-collusion related charges, that's one of the reasons the FBI is not a legitimate police force. 

Roger Stone didn't collude with Russians. You know who did? Hillary. She absolutely got her intel from Russian sources.

It's like if some parents leave a bunch of booze, porn and drugs lying around before they leave their teenager to watch the house for the weekend and then act shocked when chaos breaks out. They say "It was a mostly peaceful weekend. The cops only came to the house once."

BLM had a recipe for riots and they used it over and over. Not like 6 times, or 8 times. Hundreds of times. 

BLM's MO was to edit video footage to make police look bad and release it on the internet. Every video they released started at the point where the situation was out of control. Their name is even ignorant and inflammatory. Literally everything they did was to incite riots.

There's a big difference between lying and just reporting on what they know, then correcting what they got wrong, which CNN often does. Conservatives also say CNN lied about Jussie Smollett, which is obviously not true, CNN just reported on what they knew, then reported that the story was faked when they found out. This is different from Fox knowingly lying about the Big Lie.

Sure, but that was the exception, not the rule. The vast majority of the rallies were peaceful marches.

If a cop needlessly murders a civilian, are we not supposed to talk about it? What you're basically saying is that we shouldn't talk about things that might result in violence.

Don't get me wrong, there is an irresponsible way to talk about things. If someone was saying "The cops murdered him, now it's time for revenge," that would be dangerous and irresponsible. But to just report on the story and demand justice, that's what should happen.

And with smollet they presented things as true which had not yet been proven. Which means they lied - they said 'this is true' and it turned out not to be.  If they had said "this is being reported' that's different.

I have lost a great deal of confidence in CNN since the BLM riots which were "mostly peaceful'. That being said it's still more accurate than FOX. And its coverage of the Russian collusion story was not 'fake news'. Trump's relationship with Russia is inexplicable other than he covets their election help and/or fears what they have on him.
